  1. But on Microsoft Puts the Kibosh On Kinect Sex Game Plans · · Score: 1

who'd want to play a game that only lasts 30 seconds?

  2. Chicks that swallow on Wolfram Alpha vs. Google — Results Vary · · Score: 1

I'm disappointed after trying the above search and getting back pictures of young birds in a nest being fed worms.

  3. Surely these days on You, Too, Could Be Batman In 10 To 12 Years · · Score: 1

one would have to train a number of Batpeople from various backgrounds to avoid offending any minority. And what about the other animals, why should bats have preferential treatment? How about this for the job advertisement, Vacancy: Nonspecificanimalperson Equal opportunity employer seeks keen individual of no specific race or gender for super hero position. Vehicle provided, good rates of pay, uniform provided. Other perks include own butler and accomodation. Super powers desirable but not essential for successful aplicant. Must be prepared to work nights.

  4. Performance after Time/Distance on Tesla Motors Is Delivering Cars · · Score: 3, Interesting

I've always wondered (and not really seen stated anywhere) how an electric vehicle's performance varies from the point of being fully charged to fully flat. i.e. does the performance (speed, acceleration, etc.) gradually get worse as the car's charge dwindles or does it suddenly just stop when the batteries are exhausted? A petrol or diesel car performs just as well (if not better due to less weight) when the tank is almost empty. Does a Tesla that has only 5 miles worth of charge left perform like a milk-float?

  5. Unfortunately on Digitizing Old Magazines? · · Score: 0

the pages of my favourite magazines are all stuck together.

  6. Re:"Mr Fusion" on Why Don't We Invent That Tomorrow? · · Score: 0

In other words an anti-accordion. One would have to make sure that the two never came into contact.

  7. Going this way in the UK too on AT&T To Decommission Pay Phones · · Score: 0

Sadly we are seeing fewer and fewer telephone boxes in the UK too. It's increasingly difficult to find one to pee in when on your way home from the pub.

  8. Can't tell the difference on Vinyl To Signal the End for CDs? · · Score: 0

I personally can't tell the difference between music played on vinyl or CD. Except if I stop sharply at traffic lights or drive faster than 2 mph. Oh - or go over a bump. Or round a bend.

  9. Wot no anti-gravity? on 'Flying Saucers' to Go On Sale Soon · · Score: 0

Surely flying cars of any description come with one VERY major flaw - the typical driver. Who amongst us that drive, including myself, hasn't had some sort of sphincter twitching moment from time to time while driving. I shudder to imagine the roads/airways full of boy-racers, old codgers who can't see more than 10 feet ahead of them, learners and even the good drivers (we all make mistakes). Conventional wheeled cars are fairly forgiving of minor mistakes but a flying vehicle would not be. How would air-roads be layed out, junctions, roundabouts, avoidance of power lines and buildings? There are many more issues to be resolved than purely building a flying car. Presumably any flying vehicle would need engine(s) and fuel, what happens when the engine stalls or fuel runs out - it plummets to the ground. Until an anti-gravity device is manufactured so the car simply halts in the sky this is another serious flaw.

  12. Evolution - Poppycock on The First Evolving Hardware? · · Score: 0

Surely this type of blasphemy shouldn't be presented as fact. Everyone knows that computers are a result of intelligent design (except for Amstrads). Mind you, I've had a few PCs that have evolved into doorstops.

  13. Hypnosis on Hypnosis Gets Positive Recognition · · Score: 0, Flamebait

I can think of a few good uses for hypnosis... 1. Hypnotise women to peform all kinds of lewd acts on me. 2. .... can't think of another.
