A friend of mine, Sam Joesph, was working on a project called Neurogrid http://www.neurogrid.net/php/index.php to develop a platform for distributed information sharing. I think he was looking into connecting some of this information using multiple dimensions like time and not just location (space).

I'm all for Arthur C. Clarke's original novel version of 2001 where we went to Saturn's moon Titan and then in the novel 2010 a joint American/Soviet effort went to Jupiter's moon Europa. And I think it would be fitting to call the craft "Alexei Leonov".
Yikes. I didn't think this would affect the company I'm working for but it does. They use Pike/Roxen and the Pike module Calendar.pmod module is causing an "Internal Server Error" because it being asked to look 30 years into the future.
Nice. Now you could run your converted diesel "grease" car on microwave reduced AOL cds and other things like the waste plastic from shopping bags, plastic food wraps and more. Every pit stop becomes a food stop for you and the car from the same products? Quick time to free patent this use of this technology and travel the world for free.
Could the microwave emitters be powered from the car battery and perhaps a solar method could be devised to enhance the solar radiation and then target it at the plastics in a waste bin at home. Sort of solar furnace. Then the recycled oil is used for the house furnace and running your car.
Come on they made for this type of job. Keen to experiment with something new. No problems sharing everything including partners. Can survive without outside support. Can live in conditions most of us wouldn't feel comfortable in. Survive for long periods breathing alternative forms of gases to oxygen. And don't mind being stranded far away from civilisation.
And I thought this was the whole point behind SSL Certificates and Seals of Approval? If only the "Web of Trust" had spread like the viruses, scams, spam and other nasties on the net.
I thought that Justin Carven and others at http://www.greasecar.com/ were doing this a while back? Started as a project at Hampshire College and evolved from there.
and then get PJ to go it alone instead. I mean there must be at least 10 million people out there with $10 to spare to help make a movie? Then it could be released at reduced cost on the big screen.
Obviously I have no real clue of the intricacies involved in the processes and licensing but it seems like a good way to fund something.
Actually, even though I haven't seen the final product, I know the fellow who invented this device and he's one smart inventor. Looks at things a little differently than the average joe.
And they would make it smell like vomit because....?
Perhaps other smells might be more appropriate. Then again you could have a kids filter that changes all those nasty pron smells to something really terrible so the kids don't want to be in there.
Warez could be burning plastic or perhaps the smell of blood, sweat and tears or maybe money.
Okay slightly offtopic but from article refering to P2P software "They had been sued by movie and music companies who claimed they should be held liable because of how their software was used."
So that should mean if the MPAA had won that one that they would then be open to suits stating "They made the movies which made my little Johnny go and kill some people."
It's good to see that someone in Ziff Davis/eWeek is willing to make a reasonable apology. I'm still surprised to see a media company that should be used to the way the net operates has people working for it that don't fully understand the concepts and operations of such.
Just goes to show that we have reached Nirvana on the Net yet.
Hope they stick some fresh coffee into the kit. When they've brewed all the coffee then they can use with the soil to add Nitrogen :)

Drim. Dram. Drom.
It is the Drim
that put the Dram
in the Drom.

We should go to both ;)

I'm sure this would benefit from a webcam and a page with controls :)

Yep you're right see http://xubuntublog.wordpress.com/2007/03/02/photos ynth-for-linux/
Hey but at least most of the demo was running inside Firefox!

So basically any hosting company that allows people access to a demo of cPanel would be affected. Yikes. From what I've seen that's quite a few.

Surely the bumblebee could be using this concept to fly then?
Also perhaps could tap into radio, microwaves and solarwinds to fly using this method?
Kinda like Street Directory service in Singapore. http://www.streetdirectory.com.sg/
300 carat Penguin then?
Surely they could use the arm as a kind of pushing/stabilising arm to help move it out instead of down.
If they realease the ViaVoice for Linux stuff again that would make Linux based voice recognition a little more accessible and might help improve it.
