    Fake because Walter McCrone says it's fake. He is a genuine scientist that can be trusted, not some kind of huckster. I had the chance to attend a conference where he gave a lecture about his examination of the Shroud of Turin. His methods were scientifically rock solid and convincing.

    IANAL, but I'm pretty sure libel and slander are civil cases, not criminal. You can get sued for libel or slander, but not jailed.
    Maybe this is how "hate speech" should be handled. A person from the offended group should sue for libel or slander. That would remove government misuse of "hate speech" laws for censorship and each instance would be judged case by case.

    1. - A game is software. Good software gives you options and the more customizable, the better it is. God mode is just another option. If the user likes the option, it is good. This is no different than having adjustable difficulty level. If you don't like it, don't use it.
    2. - It's not cheating. It's users entertaining themselves. It would only be cheating if it was multiplayer and one of the players did it unbeknownst to the others
    3. - How is this news? God mode has been available in games since games have been made
    4. - It can be fun. Who hasn't played Unreal and messed around with god mode, playersonly, loaded, fly, ghost and summon?

    This is a very common attitude: We can send a man to the moon, but we don't have efficient [solar power|wind power|automobile mileage|cancer cure|flying cars|etc.] so we are not spending enough money on research.
    The thought never seems to cross their minds that we (both private industry and governments across the world) are already spending millions upon billions on research.
    The problem is not necessarily the money, it's the physics.

    It will never happen.
    The first time an accident or crime occurs where light limiting regulations are a contributing factor, politicians would be beat down by their opponents because of it. Businesses would be sued non-stop because of "damages" suffered due to insufficient lighting. If they tried to defend their actions by saying "We wanted people to be able to see the Milky Way", they'd be ridiculed out of town.

    And when it comes time to pay on those bonds, where does the money come from? Either the taxpayers or money collected from subscribers. I didn't see anything on their website that tells how many subscribers they would need to pay the bonds or when they were due. That would be some very interesting information.

    if they don't use passive solar techniques in building this place they are a bunch of completely incompetent stupid fuckheads anyway.

    This place will basically be a suburb of Ft. Myers. The average January high/low there is 75/54. In July the average high/low is 92/74. What are they supposed to do with passive solar? I don't think passive solar cooling techniques will work very well in the heat and humidity of south Florida.
    You should give these completely incompetent stupid fuckheads a break, I'm sure they've studied the planning of this a bit more than you have.

    Like government policy and legislation based on incorrect data.
    Policy and legislation that has no impact on the environment and is really just a mechanism to control other people's money and behavior which in the end does limit individual freedom.

    The way this data was used was a scam. Nobody wants to be scammed even if you think it is for the greater good.

    For corporations, taxes are a cost of doing business. The cost of doing business get passed to the consumer.
    Wouldn't a better paradigm be to have low corporate taxes to get more corporations to move into your local economy and supply more jobs?

    Also, I'd rather have taxpayers know more exactly what their true tax burden is. It is not in the citizen's best interest to have a corporation pay a tax and then have the consumer reimburse the corporation for the tax by paying higher prices for goods and services. How can you make an informed decision about a government's budget if you don't know what the true tax burden is?
