but the biggest threat is prolonging existence of active x. in Korea every bank website must use verification system made for asp servers and the client must install active x in order to be verfified to the websites and use of the credit cards online. that means that in order to log into any of the bank website to check your account or to buy anything from online with credit card means that you need to have windows in your machine. Hope this situation change soon with the already came vista. in fact Korean government is one of the few gov in the world to fine microsoft for monopolistic practices. (300million) hope our gov start building up some damn good infra out of that.
but i prefer freedom rather than some kind of government involved control over anything. especially this is about media. I don't know what kind of mass communicaton laws that russians have but i am sure they still need some form of government control because it has only been few decades since soviet system came down. their democracy system needs more time to mature into western europ level or usa.

It may be that brown dwarfs are the 'emissions' we see generated by the Jupiter and what are received from pulsars. Brown dwarfs are, of course, 'failed' stars. They emit extremely strong beams. standard star, but are behaving on the whole more like a pulsar. University of Ireland in Galway and his colleagues used the Very Large Array radio telescope in New Mexico to observe a very cool, rapidly rotating 'brown dwarf' and he called TVLM 513-46546. the brown dwarf was observed roughly every two hours, and are very similar to those observed from pulsars. But this 'whole system' is on a much slower and smaller scale, so it is easier for astronomers to 'decipher' what is going on. For some time, scientists have wondered if there were similarities between this type of emission and the 'periodic beams' from pulsars. Call TVLM 513-46546, it could provide the first direct evidence for such a 'link'

We managed to have windows 98 installed on a 486 computer and i installed starcraft so my little cousin can play on it without bothering me. Tell ya it takes 6mins to load and clearing 1on1 computer vs my little cousin takes like 3hours;best 8 year old sitter machine in the world. Finally my little cousin can shut up and sit down for more than 15mins.

"how many credit card numbers and social security numbers out there?"
I am from Korea and when i was in the united states, my american friends were using korean social security number generator to sign up lineage2 beta and tantra, guild wars, etc. Very surprised. I told them to pick the ones over age 70.
When there is no news around, people just post old news or linux/mac/xp war related articles. But i notice that as we are to see vista so soon that is getting a lot worse.
