I, for one, am disappointed APK is only replying twice to each of your posts these days. Some day he may not bother to reply at all and you'll have to find yourself a new online stalker.
Digital lets me set a different temp in day and night - nice in the winter so I can have it warm up right before we wake up so while we're getting ready it's warm (relatively speaking) and then it rests at a comfortable level. We're only talking a range of 2-4 degrees, so the impact on my utility bill is less than the impact on my comfort level.
There's always someone home, though, so having one with sensors is way-overkill for me (and not desired - simple digital is perfect for my usage).
Anyone who touches my images without my express permission is going to have a problem. Not all of us are using camera phones. Now if they compress it to see if it can be compressed and then delete their copy, yeah, sure, that's fine - don't touch my originals.
I think it would be neat for ACs to be able to get a -2, then I can read at -1 without the goat.cx / APK type bs (reading at -1 to catch moderation abuse against logged-in users - I don't care about abuse of ACs). Duhno if this is overall a good idea, just a thought.
Don't be afraid to go really esoteric as even if I was completely unable to comment I always found it fascinating.
I wholeheartedly agree with this. I have been in IT for over 20 years, but mostly in support roles (I'm not a programmer/engineer/etc). I may not understand 100% of everything I read, but I can't tell you how much I have learned reading/. that I never would have seen anywhere else. These stories are the "gold."
Finally introduce a "-1, Factually Incorrect" mod.
I would love to see this coupled with signing mods - but only in the case of this mod. If I am expert enough in a field to call someone out as "Factually Incorrect" I should be willing to identify myself (but only for that mod and initially there should be a notification asking 'are you sure?' giving mods that don't pay enough attention to change their mind). Oh, and an 'undo mod' within 20 seconds of modding would be great! No more 'posting to undo accidental mod' posts.
I don't have nearly enough to say to post more often, but I'd like to see Karma be a factor in how often too - I won't name names, but I am aware of at least 1 or 2 users that I follow that occasionally bump into silly limits (wait X before posting again / no more posts today) - their Karma is excellent.
There's probably someone I am unaware of (maybe several), but for whom has making a deal like this with Microsoft gone well (other than Microsoft, of course).
It was better before they started letting people post classified ads as products for sell.
If it shows up in the list of results I expect to be able to buy it on Newegg not click through to Bullshitbrandxcompany to complete my purchase there.
This! I've shopped NewEgg for over a decade (bought this for $90 in 2002, heh), but killing the usefulness of ShopRunner and then letting some really, really crappy sellers sell through their site has turned me off. I still look when I shop, but as often as not, I buy at Amazon. If NewEgg would allow me to have an account-level setting that made me never see the other sellers, I'd be a lot more loyal (the ShopRunner ship sailed, c'est la vie).
10 hours is the cap to spend on a hobby? I often spend more than that (on hobbies), and I work full-time. If I was retired, I could easily see spending 50 hours a week on a hobby/ies (mind you, it wouldn't be driving people around:)).
+1 sad truth

Is it better to lose 20% of their viewers? I don't know, maybe it is, but it sounds like they are about to find out the hard way.

Timothy is just a bot (running on Intel archetecture, I'm sure) and has been for a long time.

But I get fewer stares at work when eating an apple at my desk ...
Agreed. I'm not a fan of people ruining it for 'the rest of us' when the service they want is so cheap ($60 w/ Amazon or $40 w/ fileapartment).
FYI, I believe he means this.

I see I'm not the only vault dweller here playing as Tony :)

In most states, that period is two years. However, after those two years are up, the suicide clause no longer applies. If the policyholder commits suicide after the clause has expired, their life insurance claim typically can't be contested. Their beneficiaries will likely receive the full payout.
That's ok, there's fewer cars on the road at night.
Gaming.
I duhno, Internet Explorer is my browser of choice to use to download Google Chrome.

This is a great comment, I am going to copy/paste it tomorrow when this story gets duped.
Nice try, StartsWithABang.
