    I'm convinced! You're analogy is very good. Also, I actually RTFA and they're not mining and exporting back to earth, only extracting oxygen and hydrogen from rock for fuel, water etc. The amounts they're talking about would be insignificant even on a large scale.

    In summary, you got me this time! Reason may have been the winner today, but tomorrow is a new day!

    How much of a percent of a change in the mass of the moon will create a noticable effect on the tides? Any ideas? Basing that on anything substantial? We can't even figure out global climate change, let alone model the effect the moon on the complex ocean.

    If mining on the moon becomes profitable, who knows how much material we'll be able to shift off the moon. How about in 200 years. 1000 years?

    I suppose any mass taken from the moon should be replaced from earth.

    Lyx is a good frontend for Latex too. Its no subsitute for writing it by hand, but then again, there is no subsitute for Latex.

    When I did biochemistry back in the day, the plaques were obviously in greater amounts in those with the disease, but these plaques were on everyone's brains. Nobody knew if this was the cause of the disease or an effect of the disease. Has this changed? Is there now proof that the plaques actually cause the disease?

    Has someone shown yet what they actually do?

    How is a binary unsafe but somehow source code is? I have a hard time believing you audit the code for everything that Gentoo installs. Why is a mirror offering up source code somehow trusted, but binaries aren't? Just because I don't audit the code personally, doesn't mean one of our 1 million users wouldn't, and thats just in the Gentoo community.

    Being able to examine the code is far better than not being able to at all.

    Its a binary. I had an idea that if I created a new user, and ran the binary as the new user, then everything would be alright, right?

    Its not that I don't trust google, but I run Gentoo and don't have many binaries install at all. This might become more common in the future, so how should I protect myself from malicious binaries?

    Are you guys sure? FF10 had a display on the right hand side that shows who was attacking and in what order, so even though the actual time wasn't shown, it was surely implied.

    I'm struggling to think of a final fantasy game where there was a princess that was kidnapped. Maybe some of the earlier ones (?), but the games become engaging when a much better antagonist appears.

    This is similar to the works of Michael Crichton. An initial antagonist is presented, but the real bad guy is the dinosaurs or the twister.

    Anyway, you have to stop thinking Zelda when you think about RPG games!
