I will keep it simple:
There is one thing that needs doing: Direct some serious funding to the space program. Not only for the benefit of the USA, but for the sake of all mankind.
The future is out there, not here on this small blue marble, and now is the time to take control of our destiny! We will not get a second chance, and time is running out fast!
Right!
I even stopped thinking about it... As a non-american I would have no rights at all, and since my laptop is filled to the gills with articles and information about chemistry, physics, Darwin and other 'dangerous or suspect material', I am reasonably sure I would be 'offered' a red/orange suit and a free ticket to a certain place in Cuba...
So
Hear! Hear!
I am from '64 myself... In the Netherlands the VERON (comparable with the ARRL) organises a special contest called 'back to the future' where the goal is to log as much stations as possible, with... a chrystal set. I was amazed when I read the scorelist.... Some had even logged stations from the USA....
I would.... :-)
My thoughts exactly! We tend to forget our 'classics'!

Nice stunt, but why? There are thousands of useless objects orbiting our world, each a danger for anything sharing their orbits... Why add another....
