    For all its many faults, VB is a mature platform

    That's what I keep telling people about .Net
    They started over from scratch (at least on the VB part.) So you're starting out with a still maturing product.

    I certainly hope so. Remember what happened to CDDB (aka Gracenote)? And to a lesser extent IMDB.

    This should have not been marked redundant. It wasn't the first post to mention the laser beams, but it was the first one that said "All I asked for is a article..." thereby making it more relevant than all the other laser beam posts at the time (none of which brought the article into the joke).

    Why can't we have a show for tech enthusiasts? It could be where companies show off new stuff and generate public interest. One where the public is invited? It could be held in a different state each year so that everyone gets a chance to go.

    Any time in the past that you didn't return a video to a rental place, they would charge you the full price of the video. Why would anyone think it would be different now?
