I believe in the idea of a person being genetically predisposed towards having a slower metabolism, or retaining a certain degree of fat, but to the end of obesity? I don't believe so.
People really need to stop living in denial of their weight problems, and do something about it. Blame your backhair on genetics. Blame your obesity on the fact that you eat fast food almost every meal of the week, and take the elevator to get back to your office's floor.
I do have sympathy though. Working in an office for 8 hours or more a day is most certainly not conducive to weight lose, especially considering the fact that most of humanities existance was spent hunting and gathering, constantly burning calories, and barely keeping enough to grow and maintain muscle.
Nice troll. Don't assume I mean that like it's a bad thing. Truth be told I'm envious that he's got such a great vocabulary that he can use in daily conversation.
You know, when I read the article I thought to myself, "Oh great, another way for advertisers to start cramming ads down our throats, thanks a lot kid."
I just completely had it figured that ever blank space in a website was going to start throwing ads like these up at you, but after reading the article, and then actually looking at his site, I see that it's just a gimmick that he came up with.
Like it's been said above, it's a one time deal with the press really making his site sell. Plus the site doesn't try to claim to do anything else. Good job kid. Invest that million bucks wisely, maybe college... mutual funds... yeah right;P
From what I've read about this one, it's supposed to be some kind of mixture between two and one. Two being the "God of War of the series" and one being a La Parkour action title.
I loved the first one. It blew me away with the fluidity of everything. The second one I kind of messed with, but didn't feel particularly like it belonged. The free form combat system sounded great, but really you just used a few core moves for the most part, and the rest were fairly useless.
I'm a bit hesitant about picking up this one. I probably will, but that's because I'm hoping it'll be enough like the first one to keep me hooked.
My ideal PoP game would be one like the first one, but with several ways to solve a certain section.
or if it's because it has a refreshingly simple character system. You have a couple of easily understandable stats, when you level you have 5 different abilities you can choose from 4 weapons, and one unique ability per character, and the story isn't some over the top ridiculously unable to be understood thing.
There's no sphere grid system to confuse people. There aren't 20 different stats to try and understand. It's just straight forward, and yet still deep and entertaining.
The characters are great, and there's only four, so you don't have to worry about missing out on plotline for a character, or keeping everyone's level equal.
Really the only complaint I have about it is the fact that there is a bunch of running around and fighting in order to level, just in order to beat the next dungeon.
Huh... now ain't that some shit...
Or am I once again off my rocker? Off your rocker like a fox!

Wow, so Tycho really speaks like that in real life. I figured he sat there writing his post with a thesaurus website opened up in the background!
