    Of course they did. Any successful company copies innovative ideas from the competition (like how Apple copied the mouse drive GUI from Xerox). Microsoft has had it's fair share of ideas copied too (Apple copied the popular 'right mouse click' context menu for their computers).

    You were lucky. I tried beating down a longtime bully once. I did pretty well too. Until two days later when him and three of his friends jumped me and nearly put me in the hospital. In this litigious and delicate age, I tell my kids not to open a can of whoops-arse, but rather take the issue to the principle. If that doesn't work I call the cops.

    I took a walk thru several of those cited links. They all had a post or two similar to this among the complaints:

    thing i did! i have had no problems at all. the screen is amazing, so easy to register and sync, i can easily take of
    photos and movies i have made though the auto play when you first use the usb to charge/sync the phone when plugs into
    your pc. the movies and photos are perfect quality. no reception issues here and my case has not arrived so its nothing to do
    with that!

    get one, otherwise you don't know what you are missing!!

    I don't think so. I have a teenage daughter and teenage son. I have never heard them (or any of their friends) use the word hardcore in reference to anything other than as a disparagement toward obsessive gamers. Maybe it 'stuck' like the word goth. It used to mean someone was something (i.e. Visigoth, Ostrogoth). But now it pretty much means someone is nothing.

    Because the so-called 'warrior gene' that's found in many violent offenders, is not entirely a bad thing. It usually (always?) needs to be coupled with a abusive childhood to lead to a life of violence. People wo have the former without the latter often end up be highly ambitions and very competitive. These traits often serve society very well. Or they become UFC champions, which is kind of neutral...
