Also, the n00b areas aren't always well populated by non-n00bs (depending on where you start) due to their relatively low profit potential. However, I've yet to see a high-sec system in Empire space that didn't have people in it (even if you didn't see them visually, they show up in the [local] list if they're in the same system).
While I can't say for sure in your particular case, the newbie missions are fairly well scaled to make it easy for n00bs, so dying shouldn't be too much of an issue unless there's an aspect of gameplay that you've overlooked (my mistake, years ago, was not understanding how ammunition effects the optimum range of my guns, and how necessary it was to always orbit a target at optimum range when you're in a frigate, not to mention how ammo types effect damage to various mission rats).
Well, there's always exceptions and theoretical ways to falsify such things. However, the chain of evidence rules for things related to digital/computer forensics are ridiculously strict, so it goes a fair way towards reducing the possibility of that happening.
It's their responsibility to do so. If they cannot, then they need to arrange for alternate supervision. I'm not sure where the whole idea came from that some magical "other" should be responsible for your kids *at home* when you're not around.
No, I believe he's talking about the opposite. The "you are a unique and wonderful snowflake" analogy works great... for snowflakes. However, the problem is that the crowd we speak of also subscribes to such ideas as placing more emphasis on self-esteem in education than actually making sure kids learn and can perform what they learn correctly. It's the "all opinions are equally valid" crowd, where we have to make sure not to offend anyone because we all need to get along in HappyFunLand.
This crowd encourages individualism... so long as the individuals conform to what they have decided individuals should be. It's pretty much the opposite of what people typically mean when someone says "rugged individualism."
While I'm not the most experienced businessperson in the world, I've worked for a few firms. In every one, docking stations were standard equipment that was ordered with laptops. In my experience, your situation is non-standard.
And South Koreans.

Now USB Flash memory sticks are used instead. I didn't have one until a couple months back, when a buddy gave me one. They're useful, but I can't help but worry about this read/write limit that people mention, so I use it sparingly.
Most flash devices use algorithms to spread out the wear across the media, so it's not really an issue that should cause you to worry about it too much.

No matter. If France gives up making French people, it will just import other people and re-define French to be "them", just like they do with vocabulary every year:P
Iceland. Need I say more?
google for their current hardware setup, they're doing exactly that (granted not the 72-way servers)
http://www.datacenterknowledge.com/archives/2006/S ep/13/eve_online_30000_users_on_one_server_shard.h tml could be a good place to start
You can do high-sec POS, I get charters once in a while when I run missions. Dunno if anyone bothers, though.
Well, space is big.

in addition the other poster, i'd note that shows like The West Wing routinely did very long uncut steadycam shots

bah. now that you've said that, the *real* oldies will show up
What? How do you cheat in NASCAR? They using some sort of non-regulation parts or something? Furthermore, as I ask this, I wonder why I care.
As an aside, that's a pretty cool user number.

Goddamn Mongolians! Get away from my shitty wall!
(your idea was explored humorously in a South Park episode)

I never remember your nick, just your Tolkien .sig
Sad that I never have mod points when I need them.

So what I'm getting here is that you frequently need to see shitty movies?
ok that wasn't funny but you get the idea.
Then it'd fit right in for a Leno monologue.
there is no such thing as a 1080i LCD
*looks up at his 32" LCD running 1080i ATSC programming*
*goes to check his antischizophrenic drugs again*

I'm not sure why you're surprised. Early adoption in Windows OS releases is always a recipe for headaches.
If my "soon" you mean "a few years from now", I guess....
AFAIK the smartcart just replaces your need to do a keyboard login. There's no local storage on the Sunrays.
Yes, and I suspect it's the result of a very good marketing/PR staff at Linden Labs, and not the result of organic excitement in this particular mmo.
And by someone, you mean furries.
