There will definitely be a crack for it, because although it may take a while now-adays for a crack for WGA to surface, if Windows decided to shut down illegitimate XP copies, that would turn off nearly all the computers in countries such as India and China... these countries are full of very smart people, so there would be many more people trying to break WGA so they can go back to using their pirated copies. I think its quite possible even that the government would work on cracking this... m$ shutting down PCs could wreak havoc with their economies. (That was a guess, dont quote me on it)
Do you think it is possible that one day in the not too distant future there will be a point where graphics and physics engines cannot be advanced further, and at that point these engines will become available for a low cost. This is when any small team of programmars can grab a script and start working on the game, because the API will not change, and they will already have the skills required to efficiently make it. A good example of this is the SOURCE engine, it was designed to be used by indie developers so they do not have to build their own engines, but focus on the actual story telling.
Heres a secret, I'm a 16 year old, albeit a well educated one, so I am infact what most people would class as a moron, despite the fact I can join MENSA.
Since when have we needed a game to teach our kids that locking someone in a room with no windows or doors, and leaving them to die is a BAD thing! There is something seriously wrong with society if this is the case...
Theres no way Sony could sell the PS3 for less than £1000 now as standalone players cost £800 about now. So from this I have to disagree that Sony will sell the PS3 for $500 as an earlier poster said, even if they could so this Sony will be undercutting all their manufacturers, and I wonder what they will have to say about that. Also markey anaylysts are already touting the PS3 as a major success because of the success of the PS3. I'll put it like this, it was average joe who made the PS2 what it is today, their friends had it so they bought one. I do not know ANYONE, not even techie people like me who is willing to pay £500 for a console let alone £800, so there is no chance that average joe will fork out this amount of money for something which is comepletely superfluous to their survival lol. I know I won't be buying either an Xbox360 or a PS3 and the PC is better IMO than both.
There are some people with way too much free time... Ive found myspace friends networks of completely fabricated myspace accounts of all world leader, most of the US government, and celebrities and odditities like severely obese people. e.g.

I also call bullshit:| I live in one of the most religious places in the UK (the outer hebridies, islands btw), and I had never even heard of intelligent design until I read it on slashdot - complete American propoganda. The general trend as far as I can see is that older people believe in religon, but of the total population, very few people believe in any religion, most are atheists, and I am shocked at any country that allows relgion to interfere with state affairs, especially such a culturally diverse country as America.
There has always been more information than one human can ever access, I think it is great that technology has given us search engines to allows us to find what we want nearly instantly, and not have to spend our whole lives reading vast librarys of books and never find what we were looking for.
