    The federal government has real power. It can make laws, treaties and so on that the several states are required to abide by (within the bounds allowed in the Constitution). There isn't any weaseling out of it or leaving. Thus the government can speak for the US as a whole. Wrong. The judiciary can overide and ignore laws and treaties negotiated and approved by the federal government. For an example see the Softwood Lumber dispute between Canada & the US.

    No but I would like to go back to a time when Green peace actually told the truth. For example: for more thatn the last 20 years it has been illigal in Canada to harvest and trade in white woats. Yet every year we still see those same pictures of the cute little white coats on their anti-sealing propaganda no where do you see pictures of the seals that they actuall do harverst. I guess they are not cute enough.

    I remember back when my son was about 5. He was watching TV one day when he got up and asked me, "Daddy why are there no commercials about boys"? I asked him what he ment and his reply was "There are lots of comercials about girls being whatever they want and being happy about how they look but none for boys.". After thinking about it for a while I realised that he was right.

    I have been toying with the idea for a while. Not so much to have it wired into my brain but just connected via "bluetooth" or simillar method to a pocket recorder. Control would be by blinking. This would be the ultimate stealth camera. Battery life would probably suck though.

    If I remember correctly there was a something similar in Germany. A cleaning company had a lot of workers who lived in an particular outlying town so the cleaning company got a passenger van to drive them back and forth. The local bus/train service then took them to court because of the lost business. I cannot remember how it all ended up but I seem to think that the cleaning company lost. (They got "taken to the cleaners" so to speak.)

    It has been done. I believe there is a Internet company already that you can hire that specializes in this sort of cash recovery. However, I don't seem to recall where I saw this. It too was reported as a scam.
