    yep, but do you think that "average" Mac user do this on regular basis? Is he "typing netstats" into the console every five minutes ? And of course, netstats doesnt show sub-processes in the programs that you deem "safe". Most hacks go through Safari and other common executables. In netstats you can only say: ok thats the app I know, so that is not a intrusion, obviously... how wrong you are.

    Considering that the average Mac user is the least tech-savvy user of all OS users (FreeBDS or SUSE desktop user will most likely marked as a geek, but not a Mac user). So there is no way possible for Mac user without proper tools (which he dont have and dont want to use) to identify and report any intrusion.

    Why are you ppl doing this for free? Do you have so much time in your lives to do things of this magnitude for free? Website and net traffic have to be paid, so are you really burning your time and money over this? One should assume you are some russian hackers doing this to lure ppl to download your "free" software and then exploit that people and compromise data and identities. I really can't see any positives in doing all this. They may claim whatever they want, but I will NEVER trust them. Predatory pricing, undermining legit businesses and no resposibility. There should be a law to prevent all this from happening.

    Can't imagine you naps still making money on your shitloaded websites. I've heard ppl are making thousands per day(!) through some generated cut/paste pages and faked websites. They are milking that AdSense every way possible. Google should take steps toward elimination of those fraudsters as soon as possible. Best way by hand picking good websites and weeding out the nasties.

    Unless you trust things that are for free... I would never even touch those free, spyware infested software appz. The problem with Linux is TRUST, I simply can't imagine running anything important like banking app on that shit. Don't tell us that it comes with source code so it should be spyware free. Do you think that ANY ordinary ppl can handle source code, what is "source code" ? "Source code" means nothing to common ppl. I will rather pay $50 for something with live support, quick download and 100% functionality then fiddle around some half stolen program with thousand unwanted features and bugs. Also hardware manufacturers support interface like DirectX 9 that I need to sqeeze top performance from my apps, where is such a direct hardware support on Linux ?

    Most of the people in the EU (like me) admire the United States, the true freedom, business friedly environment, almost no racial discrimination, many competing "same lang" states etc. but again, if you treat us as terrorist nations, tight inspections of our families and still no US visas granted for EU members etc. really, why we should give you those personal information ? U.S. persons can travel all over the Europe freely, cheered everywhere like some uber persons, but sure we can't go to US without big visa hurdles.. then whats the point? We are not your slaves or some kind of lesser-stupid EU peasantry. Give us no visa America, and no more discriminating and insulting deep personal "x-ray" inspections. Better watch the Middle east closely then us, the good old Europe.

And we tech-nerds can do nothing about this "fenomena".

    You guys are buying into E3 momentum, Wii may steal the action for a moment, but, PS3 will have more time now to tune and rethink things up and finally they will emerge with the winning product. Price tag difference of $200 will be an non issue. PS3 is best of breed and will beat them all at the end, mark my words. Stronger brand always wins.
