    Frankenstein, for example, never exactly explains in concrete terms exactly how the monster was brought to life, or how it survived, or what it ate, or actual and exact process undertaken to reproduce the experiment.

    I think you need to read the book again, Shelley goes into great detail on how the monster survived and ate, although your points on the experiment are true.

    I think the underlying problem is that diagnosing autism (among other mental disorders) isn't as easy as checking an insulin level or blood pressure. Things are not black and white when it comes to the human mind.

    Oh it certainly will be written in to the building codes, as soon as someone in the chain of command to do this benefits financially from the code. IE: Owning a business that makes windmills/solar panels.

    I guaren-fuckin-tee you can run linux on a windows 98 spec PC. You might not be able to run the latest and greatest bloat-distro but if you run anything the might *MIGHT* use the command line first before trying to set up X then you can run linux. Shit i have a linux server with 64 megs of ram, and a 600mhz cpu serving 2 websites and an email server. i call shenanigans on your statements.

    In all seriousness this child needs counseling immediately. It sounds as if he is already headed down the slippery slope towards being a sociopath. If that were my sister I would contact the authorities and try to get custody of the child in order to get him the help he NEEDS.

    Everyone knows that if you want Ferrari performance out of a Civic you need to put a giant whale-tail spoiler on the back and one of those exhaust tips that sounds like a hive of retarded bees. Also it doesnt hurt to primer the whole thing and run out of money before you can give it a slick paint job.

    You can choose 2.4 OR 2.6 kernels during the slackware install. you can even...compile a vanilla kernel from SOURCE (WOW!)

    The Xbox had no disc swapping games, most likely due to the fact that if you hit the eject button while in a game the system would reboot and you would be at the main dashboard before you even had the 2nd disc in. Personally, I have a 250 gig hard drive in my xbox and I can play all of my 65 games without ever touching a disc.
