Better yet, why should the university even be asked to furnish the data? They have no control over who does what online -they are just providing access to the internet. How can it be presumed that they are responsible for even keeping those records? I guess they're probably required to log access to make sure they're doing their part in the war on terror.... Why aren't they suing Google to hand over it's logs (they aren't, are they)? I bet you can find more copyrighted material there.. These things are just the last-ditch throes of a dying parasite that is in the process of being removed from its host. Wasting money trying to artificially stave off the demise of an outmoded business model -instead of investing that cash into developing new business models that work with the way people want to receive their music.

I use, or try to use, the 3 "major" platforms (Win XP, Linux, OS X) from time to time, and OS X provides the best user experience hands down. I also own hardware both from Apple, and a couple of PC's that I built myself from various parts. I have also seen numerous PC's from Dell, Micron, etc.

The build quality of the average Apple machine is also light years better than your average PC, what you get may not be bleeding edge (component-wise), or the mind-numbing combinations of BTO parts that can be swapped in, but it's a tradeoff for the level of stability that the Apple harware/software combination provides.

OR, you could say that the other services colluded to exclude the iPod by using a proprietary Windows format, unfairly, in attempt to make it fail.

I'm thinking all one would need to use the "suitcase" MR in multiple locations is a "generic" RF shield, and a "standard" magnetic shield. If you place the unit in a room (or rooms) that are all acceptably similar in compsition and geometry, I would think that it would function normally -all other things being fairly equal, I think you could then have a "standard" shim, or a shim kit for the magnet that would allow you to compensate for the small differences in the different environments.

I wonder what RF attenuation specs the shield would need for this smaller unit --wondering when the day will come that my trade will be made obsolete by better image processing software, DSP's, etc.
