Even if you go to a Italian restaurant you'll end up with a Japanese bastardization of Italian food that will never the less still taste good.
True, but I don't think I want to try Natto Spaghetti ever again... ^_^
I also live in Japan and I have to say that most Japanese simply don't "get" wine.
The locally produced wine is so sweet it's simply undrinkable (although the busloads of grannies that visit our local winery tend to disagree with me).
Also Beaujolais is a Hype (with a capital H) product over here, just like champagne is in the west at New Year. When the first shipment of Beaujolais Nouveau is permitted to go on sale many Japanese who normally don't drink wine and have no idea what it should (or could) taste like will happily splurge out on a $30 bottle of Beaujolais at the nearest combini (7-11) because it's considered very cool to do so.
Sure, we change the bedsheets, but what about the creepy-crawlies and bacteria living in the mattress? Surely it has to be more infected by them than a computer keyboard?
Quaero? My goodness. Talking about user-friendliness.
Try this. Open notepad, close your eyes count from 30 to 1 while trying to empty your mind. Then try typing "Quaero" (no peeking!).
See how many typos you have.
Have to agree here. Some of the "designers" responsible for the themes which can be downloaded at Mozilla.org deserve to be shot for bad taste. Maybe Mozilla.org should be a bit stricter when it comes to moderating the download themes page.
Most folks (including myself) who spent money buying DVDs of movies they already owned on VHS aren't so eager to invest in yet another version of the same thing. Besides, even if I wanted to I couldn't buy a movie on Blueray or HD-DVD since nobody is selling them yet. Instead of calling DVD dead, I'd call the new formats unborn. ^_^
Oops, yeah what I meant to say is that they won't ship any DVD players to other countries for some reason.
Amazon UK won't ship a region-free DVD player to other countries but they'll happily ship region 2 DVDs to other zones. Talk about double standards ^_^
As far as I know Amazon UK won't export outside of the UK.
Probably your best bet in Holland would be to visit Media Markt, Radio Correct (in Rotterdam) or Raf (in Amsterdam), I'm quite they'll be able to set you up with a region free player for less than 70 Euro. Some may even be able to play DivX.
You'll need a TV which is able to display NTSC signals (most are) and you'll need to connect your DVD player with a RGB/Scart cable to your TV, otherwise playback will be in black and white.
Let's kick them out of the EU!
Or how about the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation? ^_^
Beaujolais is not a varietal, it's a region.
Other than take couldn't agree with you more ^_^
They also like warming whisky before drinking it.

Want some fish with those chips?
Looks like Thunderbird was left out accidentally... NOT!
To see if they could slashdot Slashdot?

If you blow up the low-res iPod videos to that size it'll be more like you're watching Lego instead of Lost.
