I have seen similar things happen to what you say, yes all nerfs are taken in badly, even when it is -CLEAR- they are for a reason. A good example of a nerf I have seen for a reason is the "layers" nerf in AO. Oversimplified, layers is HP above and beyond the maximum HP, so 1000 HP with 400 layers means 1400 health to take you down (its a little more complex, but thats the basics) Now, in PVP, the maximum damage that could be dealt, was 40% of your Max HP per attack, this meant people would setup toons with the ability to cast over 700 layers, yet only have 100 max HP, thereby making it take eighteen hits to take out (which is ALOT, considering they could recast the layers every four or so hits). Now, that is CLEARLY not how it was intended, so they removed the 40% limit when dealing with layers (dmg to HP was uneffected). This naturally caused some legitimate people to be negatively effected. And this did bring up a shitstorm. This is one of the bad situations I've seen, and was inevitable, as the game was rewarding people to have less HP.
However, there was a management change recently, and ever since that the changes have been much better, and made many people happy.
One thing the designers don't understand, is that most of the things people want are small changes or bugfixes. Like adding a bank terminal to the playershop playfield, or changing one timer from twenty four hours to two hours (especially when one needs to use that timer 30+ times to change their equipment around)
No, I think he didn't want anyone from the Russian government visiting him. They are very aggressive when people accuse them of murdering jour:ALKFJH:LKASHFKJHFDASJ ^[NO CARRIER]
Uhh... I seem to recall that CDs have enough spots on the disk to hold like 1.8gb of data, but there needs to be heavy redundancy, and thus only 650mb can be used.
No, but CHEATER, I am, YOU LOOKED AT HER, its quite I'M JEALOUS the interesting YOU MUST BE CHEATING technology. I'm sure DOES THIS MAKE ME LOOK FAT that this will transform the world.
I'm concerned about that same phrase too....

Now, I don't have a degree in English, but I believe that the usage of if there is plain and simple incorrect. And won't that cause the contract to be unenforceable due to the language it uses?
I don't know how it's going because I've spent all my time trying to win the "special day" competition to remake the "Google" web page logo on those "special days"
Oh, so YOU are the guy who changed my homepage to googe.
Perhaps AO would be a good choice?
The complexity of having a good character in AO is greater than that in basically any other MMO.
In most MMOs equipment is locked by level, in AO, its locked by the character's skills, so you have to think about how you can raise a skill to equip better stuff, this process is called "twinking" (no, its not just for alts, its for mains too)
What it comes down to is you cannot tax illegal behaviour. Our courts would never accept it.
I seem to remember some guy during the prohibition years that was arrested not for prohibition, but for not paying taxes on his illegal profits. I cannot for the life of me remember his name.
These murder simulators even go so far as enhancing the person who trains under them to become a better murderer. We must stop them now because their eyesight is almost good enough to hit us from 1000 yards with no scope. Hurry, lobby congress!
Gamers: PS3 and Wii, and XP (no game co's will make for one OS only)
Well, you know, except for that little thing called DirectX10.
And game companies DID make games working only on one OS, I remember when windows 2000 came out, some game (I think streets of sim city) wouldn't work on anything save for windows 2000.
Not a good idea, a live CD uses a fairly high amount of ram. Even if we somehow got around that somehow, many computers aren't set to boot from the CD drive, so what is joe sixpack going to think when he needs to go to BIOS to play a game?
Computers designed by women may be more attractive to women; that will let you tap a market currently underserved and increase your customer count. That directly translates into more cash, so it matters.
Because that worked SO well for those brightly colored apple laptops.
Hmm, what about a game like Endless Ages where males and females are significantly different stat-wise? They can be completely different in terms of gameplay.
Yeah, that reminds me of megamanX7/X8 I've played both, and X8 is much better since it goes back to a 2d type stage which is rendered in 3d. X7 on the other hand, is utter crap, this series was meant for 2d.
Thats not to say however that all series that were previously 2d shouldn't go 3d, in fact, some will do really well in 3d (Metroid).
Could someone explain to me how the Wii Gets by with only 3MB of texture memory on the GPU? I know computers have much more overhead than consoles with libraries and the operating system and whatnot, but I don't see how a 3MB texture memory can produce such good results.

Only an old fart would see that as early.

By allowing pirates within their shores, Canada is surely helping alleviate global warming. I thank them.

Hey, if not for the abuse of a minor, for the slaughter of kittens. You should be ashamed. Won't someone think of the kittens?

Hmm, damn, thats a little more complex than the code I use to seal all of the air in the atmosphere.
Hell, judging by the fact bush won at all, it looks like he was unsuccessful.

Wow, these must be the same people that have bought a pirate ship to help keep global warming down.
The question still stands. We all know that the ultimate torture in hell is looking at one who is well endowed both in the chest and in the groin.

Hey, I got a link directly to what AOL's letter said, Thanks editors, its more convenient than ever!
I don't know, let me ask my partner. Hey, righty! Could you answer something for me?
