Is the glass half empty or half full? Some would say it's half empty. Some would say it's half full. People like you would say "It's probably poisoned anyway."
Well... I wouldn't say that the glass is half empty or half full. I'd say that the glass is twice as big as it needs to be:-P
Parents think more and more that if something happens to their children it's not their fault. Well... wake up, take your time educating your children properly and your girl won't go with complete strangers after going to school. Anyway... shouldn't they go and pic her off of school and not a complete stranger? The judge should sentence their f*cking parents for leting her ride with whatever stranger she wants. Irresponsible parents. She should be given the proper attention.
It's called fomenting competition. If you always root for the one that's not going as well and more and more people do the same it'll make the bigger company try harder. In this case it's worked: Intel will be releasing a pretty powerful processor (Conroe) that'll make AMD have to work VERY hard to be able to surpass it.

A Look at IPTV

There's been IPTV in Europe for some time now. Spain started to have IPTV more than a year ago and I'm prety sure that Spain wasn't the first one to have IPTV in Europe. The bad thing is that ISP over here are too lazy to put HDTV in IPTV for now:-/ I hope that changes soon.
I've watched quite a few movies already in my cellphone. Even subtitled ones. There was electricity where I was but no TV signal so... my 1 GB memory card with several Xvid encoded videos at more or less 200 MB per movie (take into consideration that the resolution is lower so it needs less bitrate). I also put TV series in it. It's actualy entertaining.
I play Quake 1 in my cellphone and it actualy looks good! It takes a while till it starts but the wait is worth it:-P Same sounds, same 3d graphics... but the screen is "a bit" smaller:-) If you're interested you should check the Motorola MPX200 or even better, the MPX220.
The US has a lot of censure too, in movies for example. I'm prety sure that Google Video isn't gonna un-censure videos or parts of videos that were censured in the states and I don't see anybody complaining about it.
That's really stupid. Amazon does the same thing and everybody is happy about it. Most people like that feature, it only bothers paranoic people, and if they don't like it they can always not-use-it and that's it. What's the big deal? (=_=)
"Mc" = "Mac" originally means "son of". There's lots of Mac-something that are very curious. Lot's of those mac-something have Spanish roots like for example Mckernan that comes from Mac Hernan -> Mac Hernández; and Hernández is a typical Spanish 2nd name. And at the same time "-ez" curiously also means "son of" and has nordic origins. Fernando -> Fernandez -> Hernandez (the "F" was lost here in some families).
And a really funny one is McPherson that comes from Mac Person -> son of a person... so that's like... YOU DON'T KNOW WHO YOUR DADDY IS! xDDD
Because I can do some nice things with my cellphone that Symbian can't do:-P (And because the cellphone cost me 9 euros ^_^ So that answeres the guy that asked for the cellphone for free. It wasn't free, but almost. Hahaha!
As for stability... I haven't had many stability problems. You said that mobile devices shouldn't fail, I've seen Symbian crash more than once so that wouldn't make Microsoft's worse in that sense. I've also haven't seen no BSOD in my cellphone, maybe yor friends' devices were buggy or something. I'm not saying that M$'s products are perfect or anything, but just because M$'s OS have always been somewhat buggy doesn't mean that they're all ridiculously unstable. I'm happy with mine. It has it's flaws, but Symbian isn't all that good either anyway.
Programming things for my cockroach (mpx200's are all black, it's its nickname) is easy as hell and since it's structure is in some way similar to a PC's Windows, there are a lot of ported programs for it, like 3D games like Quake, Doom & Duke Nukem... also 2D games like Monkey Island, Simon the Sorcerer, Legacy, Indiana Jones... ; DivX, Xvid, etc audio/video players; and I can actually use my PC's mouse in the thing with THIS TP program:-P
Most people would find most of those things useless, but there are other things like Office utilities that can manage M$'s Office and PDF documents; Contact, Calendar, Task, Inbox, file & folder syncronizations with a specific computer, or a company's server, etc... It can do countless things and it'll get more and more thanks to it's similarity to Windows' way of programing.
Don't get me wrong, Symbian is a great OS, but just dumping M$'s Mobile OS just because it's from M$ is IMHO speaking blindly.
I just wish that they'd make the mobile versions free too. I have a Windows Mobile Smartphone and I liked Opera a little bit more than the IE both WM2002 and WM2003 have (I haven't tried WM5 yet, although I've already downloaded the roms for my mpx200 ^_^). Problem with Opera's mobile browsers is that if you don't pay you can only use it for 14 days and I'm not willing to pay 30 euros for a mobile internet browser, that's for sure.
Wops... just saw I'm not the only one saying that :-) (I'm sooo original...)

Motorola has always made extremely unstable phones. It's no surprise that that one was buggy too.
Me want a Tachikoma too! ^^
I'd give you points for better score if I could. You couldn't have explained it better. Bravo!
Will it be able to run Windows Vista?

Why wouldn't the government want minors accesing alcohol? Oh yeah, alcohol and sex are bad, guns and violence are ok.
Vista Beta 2 doesn't seem to work on my Motorola MPx200 either.

Here's a link to the SpvQuake.

I keep mine in my wallet with my money.
I'll try it then, but I'll have to install Java first :-P
My Operator isn't in the list.

I think that your cellphone operator needs to have support for it, and mine in particular doesn't.
