I second that, also, i can let my friends borrow a game and try out some of their games. gaming is very social, its something we do for fun. too bad soul-sucking gaming corporations cant understand that. a game that is downloaded cant be shared, everyone has to download their own copy. so a digital game provides less value than a physical game.
Personally, I don't think the ads are the problem. The real problem is that I paid 20-whatever for this game and now they are forcing ads on me. If the game was free, I wouldn't mind whatever ads they add. Just quit double dipping with the customer who paid in full unless alienating your base is the plan.
If many scientists flock together to gain funding, im sure they will be more successful in achieveing their goals, but do the truely radical ideas that can change the way we live get funding so easily? Many geniuses are ostracized from scientific communities because their ideas are out of the mainstream view. These eccentric scientists can still get the great geniuses of tomorrow. Another point to be made is that we do not know which discoveries are truly revolutionary until time has passed and history is being told, so even if large teams are getting large amounts of funding, that might not always mean they will be working on revolutionary ideas. Just because we see it as important and revolutionary now because it is new and an advancement, does not mean it will truly be revolutionary in the long run when we can reflect back upon a myriad of different technologies or ideas and the implications of each one.

I did some research on google earth and it seems a majority of humans stand perpendicular to the surface of the earth!!! This looked interesting so I did some more research and it seems the rest of the people are lying PARALLEL to the surface of the earth!!! Amazing, just amazing!!
China has moved from being communist to fascist in the sense that they allow capitalism by under one party rule. Basically, the merger of state and business. We Americans are always fussing about it because we have free speech, etc (at least for the most part), but I say if the Chinese citizens want what they are seeing, then they can have it. It will only be their loss in the end. Civilizations go through cycles. From lots of personal freedom to none, then destruction and rebirth. The seeds of destruction is usually planted from inside. The closer they get to fascism, the closer they get to destruction. Look at history if you doubt. The people simply cannot be dominated.
