Why? Just because a big tsunami hit recently doesn't mean the chances of it reoccuring are getting any smaller. A quick cursory search revealed this graphic that showed the amount of earthquakes > magnitude 5 per year is at least 1 all around the indian ocean. http://neic.usgs.gov/neis/density/eq_density.html
World class elite athletes are doing about 31mph ~ 50kph (1 hour, outdoors) in individual time trials on upright bikes (non faired TT/Tri bikes). It's pretty much entirely the aerodynamic efficiency of the low/faired enclosure that is giving the recumbents such a huge speed difference over an hour in these record attempts.
The guys powering these things aren't couch potatoes either.
""It used to be that graphics were the number one factor in picking up a new game but now players are asking more and more about interactions in the environment."
Graphics was never the number one factor. Great gameplay was. This type of "graphics makes the game" type thinking came along with stuff like Far Cry, FEAR etc. In fact it almost seems like the game content was an afterthought.
Besides the physics issue, anything that can be modded script wise (such as the stealing thing), has been modded already. There is a big community out there with a great number of mods for almost anything imaginable already. The stealing issue has already been fixed, as has the "psychic" guards.
...and you want to play the latest games
It might be kind of hard to push those framerates at those widescreen resolutions, especially with maximum detail with anything less than a top of the line rig.
That's funny seeing as how you can get higher framerates with my GF4 Ti4200 which can be had for $20 CAD on ebay. If not less. In fact I my geforce 2 TI outperformed the Fx5200.
Why are there still these 3 messages that are unbroken? None of TFA seems to talk about this.
Even though it is interesting to note that it's estimated to take 1-10 days of 100 celerons 24/7 to crack a ciphertext of 180 letters long. And that's with computers that are 60 years ahead of the technology that the enigma was made from.
I have a hard time believing most people post to internet forums or usenet under their real names. And that these names would be unique enough to identify the specific individual that is being hired.
A little skepticism here.
I'd be a bit more comfortable with the unit having a fan when it does reach load temperatures. I have a similar power supply of fanless design that has a "backup" fan. It is 0rpm idling and when playing games it spins up.
Makes me feel just a wee bit safer. Especially during the summer.
Most of the systems at work and at home (even my friends) are mainly AGP. Besides the so-called "performance increase". Isn't it just a big ploy to get people to spend $$ on a new system? High end AGP cards were almost impossible to find except on ebay, and those were going for exorbitant prices (higher than the equivalent PCI-E card, sometimes by a LOT).
So, what exactly what his hands touching during the 9min 23s video?
The irony...

Problem solved. Why is this such a big deal?

Here is one among many: http://www.oblivionsource.com/
If you can't find a mod for it, mod it yourself and let everyone else enjoy it!
can have differing numbers of search results. My google prefernece is set to 50 per page. Useless study?

On this story without actually reading the report. And it requires a fairly hefty fee ($1-$3.5k USD)for a login in order to download the report.

For the $500k isn't it? I'm guessing he's made a lot more than that off the patents already for 37 some odd years.

It's hard to take someone seriously when there are spelling mistakes all over the place.
... when this turns out to be another one of those, "people used to believe the Earth was flat" scenarios.
The rocket powered aircraft will only be able to turn left.
