I don't think what matters is in which form you depict him, but rather the fact the claim that you have in some form depicted him. If you claim to be showing Muhammed, it's doesn't really matter how you portray him.
You just gave me a flashback to my teenage self playing Barren Realms Elite on a BBS, launching attacks against people at the other side of the world and getting the results the next day. God, I loved BRE.
No. Anarchy is undemocratic, because for practical purposes, in an anarchic state, the strong rule the weak.
Isn't that exactly what's happening here? Sure, I can fork my own copy of Ubuntu because I want the buttons in a different order, but how practical is that? Canonical is strong - they have alot of things going on that are not related to the button order and for which I still want to use 'their' branch of Ubuntu. I am weak - I don't have the time to merge all their updates with my code, rebuild, etc. Hence, I just let it go keep using Ubuntu, ignoring the whole button order thing.
Yeah, that's just what I was going to say. He stole my idea!
Don't panic. Find comfort in the fact that there's a universe in which a bear brutally sodomized then killed him before he was able to push the Submit button.
To be fair, I didn't have to reboot for.NET 2.0 nor.NET 3.5 framework installations - maybe it was due to other upgrades that were required? I don't remember about IE8.
WPF and WCF have nothing to do with the C# language. If you're going to make a snide remark, at least put some effort in it. As for L2S, I heard that's coming along pretty well.
In his defense, he said it was free software, not Free Software.

Separately, I have a dream where all of the Alans Cox get together to write an operating system.
Suddenly, Cox everywhere!
Sounds like Silverlight to me. Or WebStart. Or ClickOnce. Or ...
Except for that a referer URL isn't something you'd trust, since it's so easily forged...
And by 'nobody cares about', Punto means 'I don't care about'.
Were you so proud of your opinion that you didn't dare sign it with your name?

How is that not the strong ruling the weak?

If you download .MP3.EXE files, the problem is YOU.
Yes, because Linux has no local privilege escalation vulnerabilities, right? This sane OS of yours, does it come with rainbow pooping unicorns too?
Ahh. Rule 35.

Hello, my name is Steve Jobs and I would like to thank you for defending my honour.
If you think this is obvious, you haven't met the horde of users that still believe CNN and Microsoft work together to announce viruses.
Rabble rabble civil rights rabble rabble government RABBLE RABBLE!
If Mono is behind, it'll be with respect to the .NET framework, not the C# language itself.
Windows' internal version is still at 6 mostly for application compatibility reasons, nothing else.
Try hitting 'down' on your cursor pad 5 times, you dinosaur.
Obviously he's talking about a dept the company has to the buyer of the gift certificate, not the other way around.

You might be confusing "lame" and "horrible".
