    Wait a second, does that mean the workers didn't know the file sharing programs accessed classified information, or that we don't even know what our own government workers are doing ?

    Because Opera uses persistent browsing there's little point in having a home page.

    I'm not really a fan of searchbars or similar utilities, so I always go directly to search engine pages.
    Right now I have Google set as my homepage, so using mouse gestures I right-click & move the mouse down a tad which will open a blank tab, then I double-click anywhere in that tab to go directly to my homepage.

    He has chosen to expose only his anonymous persona to the mud-slinging of political discourse (and potential nonverbal retaliation), not to put his private life, peace, possessions, and employment, along with those of his family, in harm's way.

    In other words, he wants to play the game but doesn't want to take responsibility if he's wrong.

    I take it you also disapprove of Alexander Hamilton, James Madison, and John Jay publishing the Federalist Papers under the pseudonym "Publius (which allowed people to debate the ideas without reference to the identity of those proposing them)?

    We're sitting here debating this issue right now, so yes I disapprove of it because it obviously didn't work well in the long run.

    If you really think that everyone should have to live up to what they say in public, why isn't YOUR NAME on your Slashdot user info page?

    In all fairness, politicians have to live up to what they say in public, why shouldn't everyone else ?
    I don't think anyone should have a "right" to be anonymous, if they want to be taken seriously they need to stand up & be heard like the people they speak out against.

    You don't have to get in before the spam hits, just before the wave crests, that's all.

    Actually, you do have to get in before the spam hits if you want to be sure to get rid of all your shares & cover fees.
    If anyone profits from theese things without knowing they will happen beforehand, it's an amazing stroke of luck.

    The DOT, being responsible for entities like the FAA & other departments that oversee venues for terrorist attack, realized that Microsoft was selling them the same thing they were selling everyone else, perhaps inadvertantly terrorists.

    Microsoft's trying to make a living & Government contracts don't pay what they used to with all the "healthy competition" that's out there.
