Each one of these routers came with the ruleset for the Great Firewall of China pre-loaded! Perfect for suppressing criticism in my company! Great seller, would buy from again! A++++++++++++
The only reason why I ever got iTunes is so that I could have legal means to buy my music. Now that Amazon MP3 popped up, there's really no point in having that piece of bloat anymore.
Instead of talking about the possible punishments, I would rather use arguments like: 1. "How would YOU like it if..." (fairness) 2. "Paying for ___ is exercising your dollar votes. By paying, you are establishing that ___ is good and is worthy of your support." (respect)
I think that open source has been surpassing closed-source software by leaps and bounds. I mean, tell me if OSX or Windows has something like BlueProximity (http://sourceforge.net/projects/blueproximity/). The only "old" thing I'm seeing is the security model, but it's a good model to keep because we're seeing Microsoft starting to take a few pages from the Linux playbook.
I was also going to suggest adding solar, but that was taken. Doing so would bring about lots of benefits: 1. Less power draw from the power grid (or even contribute to the power grid) 2. (slightly) Lower generator power requirement (if the company so chooses to add one anyway) 3. Green image for the company
As for the battery pack, one might want to use super/ultra capacitors.
I may dislike Apple; but in the interest of objectiveness, I know this will be a boon to my Macbook Pro-toting art majors. All they need to do is to make their touch panel able to detect levels of pressure.
I have harbored this hunch that the amount spent on marketing is inversely proportional to the product/offering's quality. I guess I can now add DirectBuy to my list of people who I should not buy from.
Well... nothing's really yours until you're able to make it yours. This is why I would bite the bullet and buy an unlocked phone where the carrier cannot sabotage my phone's capabilities. Speaking of unlocked phones, who's looking forward to the Neo1973?
Oh, yeah... the ownership of an iPhone is the equivalent of wearing a shirt that says "SUCKER" in big letters. Have fun with your huge phone bills and a defective by design device! ^^
I think Red Hat should send something to Steve Ballmer to rub this in his face... something along the lines of "Looks like you need to Get the Facts about Windows and Linux. Where are your lobbyists now?" along with a copy of the certification.
I'd be very interested in seeing what happens if people copy-and-pasted this article en-masse similar to the 09-F9-11-02-9D... key on their sites and Google-bomb this.
This GPS technology must be one part of Skynet! First the robots are going to exterminate the stupid people, then they're going to make the smart ones sit at the terminal all day long and program them! MUWAHAHAHAHAH!!!
I graduated from Clements High School two years ago, and I can assure that it was bureaucracy hell there (same applies to any school in Fort Bend ISD). They had the stupidest of rules that hindered teachers from doing their job and taught to some vegetative test called the TAKS (don't even get me started on that topic). I'm glad I'm outta that hellhole.
By the way, Cho's roomy can say that Cho's never played video games. This SO proves that the person to blame for the VA Tech shootings is the person behind the trigger and nobody else.
Here at UT, we have to pay $20/mo to get 4 GB/wk of data transfer (that's 4,000,000 bytes, not 4*1024^3 bytes) in our dorm. To sweeten the deal, all the rooms get 100 Mbps lines and traffic between on-campus computers do not count against us. Exceed the allocation and you'll have to deal with ISDN speeds until "reset day." My fellow students can complain about this all they want, but freedom is not free and I am content knowing that I can seed Linux distros every now and then.
... then SCO should be tagged "funny." If you take a look at their stock (SCOX) since 2000, you will notice that they have gone from $94 to a mere $0.89.
I wonder how much energy was consumed coming up with stupid bills like these and the war we have going on in the Middle East. I'm sure that energy could be used elsewhere...
I suggest that Patrick pushes an "update" that will detect whether the script is running on MPAA's servers or not; and when it is, it'll only show a picture (goatse or a parody of their "You can click but you can't hide") and talk about how hypocritical they are.
What's this?! Folio II?!

The absence reminds me of this Robot Chicken clip: http://consumerist.com/consumer/videos/veringular-were-dropping-your-calls-and-there-isnt--you-can-do-about-it-314260.php
Comcast only sent me R-S-T, but not L-N-E for the hint on that final round. I think I deserve $195,000 as well.

Does anybody remember this published a few days ago? Maybe Burger should have a look.

Until there are devices that strap me to my seat during an ad, I WILL NOT watch the ads.

What?! Prevent Apple from selling 10.4? No worries... just stall this lawsuit long enough and they'll have Leopard out! Crafty, eh?
For some reason, Ministry of Information seems 1984-ish, so answer me this: In Thailand, do browsers also keep tabs on you too?

Woof, woof, sniff, sniff... I smell those pirated ISO images and MP3s! Arrr! In any case, these dogs are PERFECT representations of the MAFIAA.

Skyrockets in flight... afternoon delight!
