I recently had a college professor tell me that he recieved an email from one of his students. It started out as regular text but quickly devolved into texting-speak.

  11. Comcast on Comcast May Face Lawsuits Over BitTorrent Filtering · · Score: 5, Insightful

Personally I hope they do get sued. While I do think our society is overly litigous, and Comcast does have the right to modify traffic on the network they own, I don't think they have the right to lie or mislead about it. And isn't this the same Comcast who had the unlimited plan with bandwidth caps?

I can see the point of people concerned about privacy. However, I think the kind of service discussed in the article, a sort of address book 2.0, sounds pretty cool. Its something I would probably go for if I had a life. And as for the privacy deal, there's nothing forcing people to use this kind of service.

Maybe its just me, but who cares about the iPhone? Normally I'm pretty excited about Apple products, but it really seems like just another phone. Yeah, it has a few more bells and whistles, but its not revolutionary or anything. And the whole AT&T lock in deal is a big downer. Maybe the next rev will be more exciting.
