Hp just has to make the rest of its PC's like its z series workstation.s we use the z series workstations at work and they rock. All hp has to do is make their home pc's like ther do their business pc's

There is still the rhic which still does things that no other collider can do (proton spin). Its also being upgraded to an erhic and they do test upgrades to it for the lhc .
The rhic also providesthe elements for Nasas space raditation lab. Also the NSLS II is also being built at brookhaven.
The copter was not breaking the law. in most states shooting towards a highway is illegal. heck state troopers in wooded areas plant fake animals on the road to get people to shoot at them by the road to arrest them.
I hope this library is not receiving federal funds. a requirement for getting the funds is that all public machines are filtered. A lot fo private grants for libraries require this also. So if this library is receiving the funds they can lose them by doing this.
I am an IT admin of a library and i agree with you 100 percent. 80 percent of all people here at my library that i work at who view porn on the adult machines is child porn. we have had many people reported to the police because of child porn. We have drug users smoking in the bathroom also. Drunks openly drinking in the library.
For everybody else if you want federal money the library HAS to filter all computers. its a requirement. So either this library has denied this funding or will lose their funding for not filtering the adult machines.
IF you live in the NYC area in the summer brookhaven national labs gives tours of the rhic (its down in the summer because power is more expensive in the summer) . they show you the magnets and the detectors and tell you how the rhic and lhc work (bnl is a partner on the lhc and is the main hosts for the US and distributes the lhc data to the other universities in the US).
You can actually talk to the scientists who work on the rhic and who have worked on the lhc. its pretty cool and free.
Is this just to remind people the lhc exists? The rhic does this all the time. Yes the lhc does it at higher energies but does it with less dense materials. They are pretty much trying to reproduce what the rhic has done to verify its findings. All the scientific articles i have seen actually are more about how the rhic and the lhc work together on heavy ion collisions then replace each other .
Does anybody know what replacing the gold ions in the rhic with uranium ions will do in the rhic that it could not before?

The problem is its price. Its more then the prius . Yes that will matter. Why get a volt when i can get a prius and an insight for the same price? BY when the volt comes out toyota might have the iq hybrid out also . The volts price will be the real problem. Also the fact that you wont break even when it comes to gas milage and money saving since the car is so expensive.
How much do you want to bet cable companies dont want to be supplying the boxes either. Maintaining all those boexes is expensive and cable companies at best get exactly what they paid for from the rental fees.
The problem is there is no real way to not need a box right now.
Also the problem is every company has their network laid out differently.
Also Verizon would have to be included in any legislation since they now have fios tv.

What you are looking for is MoCa Alliance approved stuff. MoCa 1.1 can do 175/175. Verizon Uses Moca Equipment with their fios installs . The problem is its expensive. What field are you in ? I am a network tech making a decent slary with just a 2 year and 4 year degree and got hired over everybody.
