  1. Finally on 10 Years of Pushing For Linux — and Giving Up · · Score: -1

It's about time you people give up. Linux will never hit the enterprise level. Face is the Open sores just wont cut it. All you Linux fanbois think its the greatest thing since sliced bread when you cant accept a perfectly fine working OS.

"Oh but windows is terrible i would never use it" Face it you guys cant come up with shit to compaire to it. Just as this guy admits there were to many things going wrong. You can't get your piece of software to work in a business environment. This is just an OS for home nerds who live in there parents basement.

Just man up to it and use Windows.

Windows itself handles rights failures so poorly (erroring out or worse, instead of just providing a prompt for the user to enter admin credentials).
Yeah its called the "Run As" command. You must be a Linux user.

  24. Well on Computer Buying Experiences at B&M Stores · · Score: 0

This idiot society will fall for anything. I worked in computer sales for a year before I moved on to IT networks.

The thing is if you can sound convincing the customer will buy from you. Hell you can even make up some bloated shit like "This system will host a OSI layer DHCP model to decrypt your bank card so no one can hack it"

If you lay down a cold hard sentence like that the customer will simply fall for it. Now I by all means was not a disshonest salesman. Simply because I did not make comission. I told the customer the truth and warned them about other computer companies that try to pull tricks and games.

The thing you want to do to protect your friends is simply build for them or tell them exactly what they need and send them with a list. A salesman wont mess with someone that knows what they are talking about.
