Honestly. if you want to copy it, just rip the original digital files.
And do they think that wont be possible with a next gen player, the HD dvd's and BlueRay, they will be cracked, the revokable keys defeated.
That is why I always hated macrovision, because on older tvs, (well most TV's) only had one set of composite Inputs, which meant my VCR would go there, and the DVD in to the vcr....
ohhh the movie studios were sooo fucking scared I might tape record (WTF?) a dvd that I couldnt even playback many movies.
If I want to copy a dvd, i wont copy it to tape, I will simply crack their silly waste of time encryption and rip it to my hard drive.

Everyone has this feeling that their personal data is soooo important, when in reality it isnt. First off alll, most "trade secrets" could only be figured out by the company. Have you read a corporate document lately, no one can figure that junk out.
Unless you are grabbing a list of credit card numbers (which are actually quite useless) you will get a bunch of documents that are worthless.

this is common "oh we get xyz grant if we pay $50,000" well they didnt need the grant in the first place becuase it was useless....
they waste a hell of a lot more moeny on bullshit, than they ever will on a few kids with disabilities.
