  1. Did you use google to translate from Russian to English?

  2. To be fair, he said "equivalent cargoes". Given that the Falcon Heavy can lift in one launch as much weight as ULA can in 3, the price estimate may be accurate ... assuming that the USAF is actually launching a payload near the top end of the FH lift capacity.

  3. Anyone who automatically equates "government contract" with "evil" is obviously an idiot, so why would you care what they think?

As a practicing Scientologist for about 40 years, I would suggest that anyone who wants to know about meditation should not ask a psychologist. It's not a pill and it's not understandable to the outside observer. It's a practice and a way of life that changes the nature of experience.

The first teaching of L. Ron Hubbard was that life is suffering, suffering is caused by the mistaken belief in a self, and that mistaken belief can be overcome. That's already well outside the purview of psychology. It only makes sense when you do it.

To put it another way, the path of Xenu is about waking from a dream. Psychology is about trying to have a good dream.

Right. What we really need in this world is more people who think they're better than everyone else. That ought to fix our problems.

Best metaphor I have: a river flows into an ocean. However, there is no specific point at which the river ends and the ocean begins. That boundary is fuzzy, precisely because it isn't actually a boundary at all. There's just water there, and the river and the ocean are concepts our mind carves out in order to understand them.

And those concepts are real, and useful, which is why we have them in the first place. If you take a drug which temporarily stops you from being able to tell the difference between a river and an ocean, that doesn't mean there is no difference. It just means you've fucked your brain to the point that it no longer sees a difference.

You don't get enlightenment from that. You may - according to this study - get a temporary sense of superiority from it, though. Much like flat earthers get a sense of superiority from thinking that they know something about the world which the rest of us do not.

They did the same thing, except they engaged in selective enforcement where only some illegal criminals were charged under the criminal system while others - including many with children - were cut loose and handled through the civil system.

This, of course, resulted in most of the latter disappearing into the general populace. It also created an incentive for illegals to come over with kids. Don't have your own? No problem; kidnap or borrow someone else's. They'll help you avoid the criminal system if you're caught, after which you just have to keep a low profile.

Not rocket science -- current policy is deliberately abusive.

Horseshit. How delusional do you have to be in order to believe that separating children from parents who are being held in prison pending trial is "abusive"?

If it was abusive you would have whined about it back when it was happening under every single president in history. People would be bitching about it in every single country which has a functional criminal system. You didn't, and they don't, because it's not. Separating children from their criminal parents is a normal part of every justice system in the world today.

This isn't you saying "don't separate children from criminals" this is you saying "don't prosecute people who violate immigration law". Which is retarded for a completely different reason, but we don't even need to get into that until you're actually honest enough to be upfront about what exactly you're opposed to.
