  1. VRMMORPG on The Top 21 Tech Flops · · Score: 0

Just imagine: a virtual reality suit, with helmet and gloves and everything, pluged into Second Life environment. I admit, the fly effect will be hard to reproduce, but I still think that VR and MMORPG can be a huge succes, if the price for the equipment will be not higher than 400-500$. Who will need Wii anymore?

Yeah, that TNG-Borg were the "real" ones. I remember wainting a full week to see the part II of TBOTBW (on TV, no torrent or eve Internet access back then). I was absolutely terrified by them (only 13 years, or so). And I also don't understand why the Borg in VOY are green-ish and how could a ship lost 78,000 ly from home, with limited resources, to penetrate a quadrant full of Borg... USS Voyager can be a better ship then NCC-1701-D, but still.

Maybe you are the most advance civilization in Universe. I mean, someone should be that, maybe we are. It's not impossbile. Also, it's not impossible, although unlikely, that we are the ONLY lifeform in the Universe.

As far as I know, our planet emits a lot of neutrinos, as a results of nuclear powerplants. There you have it, instead of searching for radiowaves, like SETI (that's why I registered for Mersenne Prime Search instead), search for planet emitting neutrinos. They must have nuclear activity. Still a pre-warp civilization, but a least comparable to ours. Off course, spotting neutrinos is not easy, but this should be easy for an advance civilization, would it?

I thought music (and art, in general) is done not for money, but for the pleasure itself. Obligatory South Park flashback: "Oh, look at poor Britney, she can't afford to buy this shiny new jet..."
