Has anyone ever tried to find someone thats not moving and wearing BDU's (camouflage uniform) in a forest ? its not all that easy even if u know their are approx. location and they are not really trying to hide. Thats with good light conditions, now imagine someone wearing camouflage with patches that shield against different common wavelength in your environment (desert and forest BDU's).
Also I imagine if u see 1/4 of the normal surface area of a tank it wouldn't look like a tank at all anymore, at least in low light conditions.
I'd think there would be also be applications for counter measures (the radar reflecting stuff). Imagine u could only see Grey, Blue and Brown and u are looking at a Grey, Blue and Brown Zebra behind a Blue and Brown curtain. I would think humans would get confused but can u imagine a missile thats trying to hit the best target it finds under those conditions.

afaik airliners fly along very specific routs in the sky not shortest distance between two points.
To my knowledge there is allot of free room (room the militarys of this world want as playground) up there. Probably as soon as you get to international waters the u get even more space. Take the route planes take from the US to Europe. Pretty much all the planes fly from new england to i think either the English channel or the French Atlantic coast and split of from there to where they are going. Imagine it as one of those highways through the desert with with wind farms to the left an right instead of desert.

When trying to balance the classes in warhammer how much are you going to rely on feedback from the current DAoC player base specificly the current Team Leads (players that represent the interests of their class towards game changes)?
if so are you going to consult with all TLs that loosely fit the profile of a warhammer class even if some of those fields mix like:
Consulting PacHealer, Bard, Sorc, Eldritch,... TLs for CC (crowd control) classes in warhammer ?
For stealth classes are u going to consult all TLs of stealth classes or ask the bow classes(Scout, Ranger, Hunter) and assasine classes(Infiltrator, Shadowblade, Nightshade) individualy ? Are u going to ask Minstrels in any form for input in this field ?
Are you going to consult with Menta, Sorc, Theurgist, Bonedancer, Hunter, Minstrel, Druid,... TLs as far as pet classes go ?
Are u going to ask tanks and hybrids together or are u going to ask them for input from their respective field ?
Are menta, sorc, warlock, eldritch, runemaster, theurgist TLs going to get asked when it comes to casters ?
Are all classes that have "target: realm"(Menta, (Pac)Healer, Bard, Warlock,...) heal spell get asked for heal classes ? or just Healer, Cleric, Druid as the primary heal classes ?
I didnt include all the classes that are currently available in DAoC due to number of classes and their interlocking abilities. the classes that i left out are represented thru the ",...".
to make it to/. i 1st heard about it on the 22nd in german version of the "7 o'clock news". it was reported like this:
"the german goverment got the new copyrigth law under way. after the new its still allowed to make private copies of CDs and movies for relatives and friends. but its illigal to bypass a copy protection. currently almost all DVDs and popular CDs have such a protection. additionally its not allowed to copy obviously illigal media."
i think the article is somewhat missleading. look at it kinda like an assaul charge. if its not that serious you just gonna get a slap on the wrist and fine and maybe some comunity service but if u keep on bashing peoples heads in it can get you some serious jail time. all the people i discussed the possible meaning/interpretation with agreed. another thing is all the hollywood movies are dubed over and often this drives me to download a movie becasue aprox. 60-75% of the movies lose some quality/feel/atmosphere when they are dubed over.
FYI: the "Christian Democrats" (CDU) are germanys republicans......or close to it.
well his advisor probably told him that it would be a good idea to know for what the awards were being presented. with all that evil science in the write ups he probaly needed this long to have a faint idea why and to who he was presenting the awards.....

daoc - juding by the amount of ppl that retuned from WoW because WoW has a to repetative pvp system (and yes all the ppl were 60 and tried WoW pvp for a while)

its "a US law" that means its application is pretty much confind to US soil. and even the ameraican red cross would sue someone about this they would 1st have to extradite the offender. why go through all that if they could just support the red cross in that country to the issue resolved ? other then that the only application for this law i can see is if the american red cross would sue....say the indian red cross.....
as far as i know MP3 was developed by non-private german institute (possibly frauenhoffer institute could be wrong tho) and was made available to the puplic for free.
i think it is/was the same german institute that also works on decoding the human genome. after they decoded a certain gen they would release the data about the gen thus blocking anyone else from patenting it.
as for the legal side of it....its been a while but i seem to remember that nobody can patent something that is puplic property. releasing something for everybody to access = it becomes puplic property
