What a lot of people seem to be missing is that the GOP is in the middle of a transformation. I will not get into whether or not it is good or bad for the country or the party but the establishment republicans, those like romney or mccain are being pushed aside by more libertarian bent candidates. The These new republicans, at least from what I can see, are the ones who are against the NSA and big government, something bush 2 and mccain are for.
In another 10 years as more of the traditional GOP retires or is voted out, hopefully they get repaced by more libertarian leaning candidates, or even better the libertarian party will become one of the big 2.... (i can dream)
pretty much every issue you list, is also an issue for the Ipad and most android tablets. It sounds to me that your issue is tablets, not just the surface
Very few sites I visit have an app that I actually use. The ones that do I use for a reason. Example the sportscenter app from ESPN. I use it because it will give me notifications of when teams I enjoy to watch are playing. Sure I could just go to the respective websites or even good the teams and it will show the next game for me. But getting a notification when a game starts I find to be very useful. Other than that I pretty much prefer the web versions over the app versions for everything else.
The only good reason for an app over the web IMO is when you actively want push notifications
I remember a boat not all that long ago that went to the arctic to point out that the ice caps were melting.. If I recall, they got stuck.,.. in the ice. Sorry telling me to visit a glacier is horrible evidence to prove your point
unfortunately the fine print states "may not be available in all areas advertized" at least in NY it does. literally 3 houses down from me can get it, me? nope
she would be a good start, but then you need to get rid of pelosi and a few others who seem to just never ever go away. As someone stuck living in NY, I feel for you out there
Which is exactly how the debate on this should be going I can agree with that. I only wish more people on both sides of the debate would see that instead of simply negating the other side as crazy, which both sides tend to do
actually what is happening is that most climate change skeptics do not dismiss that the climate is changing, We know you mean AWG change. We simply believe that either
A - there is not enough data or data has been cherry picked to push an agenda
B - there is change and it is natural, who do we think we are to believe we have as much power to actually change the climate or
C - The costs to "stop" if thats even possible climate change is far greater than we are willing to spend.
I would only be for that IF the person/people who go after the retro warrant are held accountable if they are wrong. I am talking jail time if they collect data with a retro warrant and it turns up with nothing. They should also pay the costs incurred
why would this be modded down? Obama has a history of breaking the law. He cannot simply grant extensions and wavers from the law, or grant extensions to the law yet he continues to do so in regards to ACA. Between delaying the employee mandate, to delaying the signup date.
you seem to act as if when we have a "record high" that sharpton and others use that isolated incident to to feed those who use their gut instincts on how silly those conservative tea party geeks who and ignore what they have to say....
because the cost of gas is already prohibitivly high for many of us here. Yes I know in the rest of the world prices are even higher, but that doesnt mean that we can afford it. If the cost of gas jumped 1$ overnight and never dropped, I know many people who would no longer be able to get to work, keep a roof over their heads and eat properly. And we got greenies wanting us to increase that by more than double the current cost!
you mean the same tax breaks that are given to every company? or do you believe we should all be paying 20 bucks a gallon of gas? I already have to spend 70 bucks a week on gas as it is just to get to and from work (and no, dont tell me to move closer or get a more fuel efficient car, if that were an option I would)

Actually, The vote passed the senate 98-1-1 and only 64 members of the house voted no. The patriot act was bipartisian.
Great googlie mooglie!

to put it another way "the one guy cut off my arm, but the new guy only gut off my finger so he is better"
before waddling off to McDonald's to guzzle down a 64oz. soda
that is, as long as he is not in NYC
just like climate scientists!
there is that as well horn, but there were still alot of good beaters that are great first car material destroyed
in NY it cost me 3.55 today so more like 2.25X higher. Not the 6X claimed by the person I was responding to is all.
that and cash for clunkers which destroyed a large amount of cars that teens could afford
I dont think a gallon of gas is over 30 bucks over there... and if it was, why havent you guys revolted yet? Hell I dont like 4 bucks a gallon
