    i see your points, but I argue they are 2 sides of the same coin

    edison was an eccentric slob while jobs was an eccentric neat freek. but on your other point yes, edison WAS a real inventor, while jobs was pretty much just a theif. I dont know of any hardware or software where he had any hands on development. Not claiming he did not as I would wager that he did, just nothing worthwile

    also true, tesla,while ahead of his time was horrible when it came to paperwork. he was also very bitter, which I cant blame him when he was always under the shaddow of edison.

    when you think about it, jobs /woz and edison /tesla is a damn good comparison. I would say that tesla did the "hard work" not that edison didnt do much hard work, but tesla was the brains. Edison had the marketablility. You can make the same argument with jobs woz. I dont think anyone can argue that woz was the brains behind the technical side of things while jobs was the mouthpiece, he was the salesman. not that jobs was not technical but he was no wheres near woz on that level.

    It wasnt until the late 90s that were were even introduced to tesla. but in the past 15 years or so he has been givin his credit, many decades to late. but to be fair the books were telling us about edison stealing the ideas, but worded in a way that made edison look like a good guy

    Ok, see I live in what is considered "downstate suburbs" on your page.

    Downstate suburbs give 27 percent, but get back 17 percent.

    Like I said above our bridge tolls continue to rise, yet we dont see any improvement on them, the money is funneled down to NYC from my area. Perhaps more north than me is getting more from the city than I am, however where I live its the opposite.

    I am still using the 2 I bought damn near 10 years ago now. Ive tried different routers, and ill probably go with a new spec one in another year. but these things have been bulletproof for me.

    As someone who lives upstate, I would be more than happy if NYC became its own state. see what the real numbers look like when we arent paying to support the city infrastructure. When my bridges get neglected yet our toll rates go up to pay for more NYC spending, It really gets on my nerves.

    Consecutive sentencing makes sense in some crimes but not in other

    your argument concerning copyright of course there is no reason to charge them consecutively. But on the other hand when you catch a rapist for example, and they have raped 20 people. I think it is more than fair that they serve each and every count.

    This may be true now, I havent been paying attention but there was a period of time when you could OC a processor and you could get it. I remember the original AMD phenoms were great for this. They even sold some 3 core processors that had a 4th core that was locked down and you could unlock it!

    I think the argument is that iphone users tend to use the web more, which has plenty of google ads all over. Add in the fact that the screen is small, there are plenty of misclicked ads that are served up. Not totally sure why iphone users use the web more than android users though that one is a little confusing to me.

    Not even going to get into the fact that you have no faith in the individual but put all your trust into the government. The same government that spys on us and our online communications "for the good" the same government that sold guns to criminal cartels in mexico. but sure blame the avg american because some people cant be trusted.

    Anti gun people seem to only look at gun crime statistics. I am talking about all violent crime statistics because it really does not matter to the victim what tool us used to terrorize and hurt or even kill them. Its still a violent crime.

    Ill agree with you, and look at my nick. There is much to be done in the medical world concerning marijuana. I believe it is a great medicine and has the potential to be a cure, or at least helpful for many diseases. but my hopes and thoughts are no replacement for medical research. Yes we have come a long way, and yes we can say for sure that marijuana does have medicinal value. but we are not in the clear just yet, there is a lot more to go.

    Agreed, no one said one did. but if you dont think someone could kill you with a banana if they REALLY wanted to you need to think a little harder. point being, if someone wants to kill you, they are going to try to do so.

    you do understand that all the cops, women who are abused and get a gun for protection and other "professional" types are on this list too. What happens when the crips who live int he area decide that its time to start killing cops while they sleep, or the ex boyfriend now knows where to find the abused woman. or the rapist now knows where to find the woman he raped. It isnt only "gun nuts" on this list
