    Actually, ICQ supports direct connections. The server is only used if there's no way to send the message directly. Also, IRC DCC is direct.

    It's not really the same thing, cancer is uncontrolled cell division. Humans also regenerate tissue, but in a bit more limited fashion..

    I think you're confusing a scramjet with an aerospike. Scramjets save weight because they use the oxygene in the atmosphere as an oxidizer instead of carrying their own.

    I've taken a shock from an IBM 8513 monitor, not an experience I'd like to recommend. It's not a good idea to try to extend the high voltage cable with something else.
    Although the way I felt how the electricity moved up my arm was kind of interesting. I'm guessing it spread through the blood vessels and I could literally feel every one of them.

    liquid oxygen isn't a propellant, it's just the oxidizer. To go somewhere you also need a propellant, such as hydrogen.

    It works, but an ion engine doesn't generate enough thrust to lift itself from the ground.
