According to Alexa, around 100 million people. However, a traffic rank of 353 does not equate to 9th rank on a survey!
FYI, Myspace is ranked 8, for traffic alone.
It is likely that they underestimated their profit so that they can release a statement like this, making them look good. And, of course, if their profits were bad, they wouldn't look like it. All Nintendo's statements seem to be a marketting ploy - but why bother, when their target audience is 3 year olds?
Although a robot is being built, the developers are still a long way from making a commercially available product. By the time the functionality and usability of the robot is at the standard required, the user's needs may have changed, as will their price range. We're still a long way from seeing robots caring in an everyday household.
Check the bottom of the page - it says it there:). I'm in the UK and just tried.
I have this book..

DOM Scripting
·
· Score: 4, Interesting
I got given this book for Christmas, and find it is really good at teaching you what to do, and why you should do it. Starting as a "newb" I am now able to integrate AJAX through DOM Scripting - something I would never have dreamed of before.
Whether you review the book or the "language" is a different matter. I find both excellent, but some may find that while the book is informative and pretty flawless, the language is not all it's cracked up to be. That's another argument, which I'm sure will be brought up soon:p
While this may give a backbone for new programmers to get out their first game, the complexity of game making cannot be "simplified" more than it already is. Perl itself is slow, and not directly suited for making games. One would have to think carefully about what they wish to achieve before committing to making a game using SDL_Perl.
It may techincally be opt in, but many users won't know what is being done with their data. Maybe it's their own fault for not reading the TOS, but it still happens. Users of Google Search don't know whether, and for how long, their data is stored. Same with anything else really - Google is inflicting a "hidden" term not advertised, and certainly not welcomed.
"Google intends to delete the information shortly after the electronic handoff, and will never retain anything from a user's hard drive for more than 30 days"
That's what they say will happen, however, why would they need to hold it for 30 days if that's the case. I smell conspiracy.
Parent, you may trust it more than IE, but here's where Opera comes in. I'm not going to preach to you, but check it out.
...Opera? :D

But they won't, so stop flaming.

The rules state they should be over 14, however they do lie. Although you got the ages wrong, you make a good point.

You're only first post because no one gives a damn about this story.
Games related news can be good - but more the console wars than a student project.

Sony is not stupid
I beg to differ.
If they offer money, I'll use their search engine. It's really the only way they'll get me anywhere near it.
