Well I can't think of another, more clear, way to say "using terrorism to fight terrorism and using war as an excuse to take away rights is not good"
Please don't ignore my post before replying to it, okay? I didnt imply anything, I said Bush is a fucking terrorist. That isnt a personal attack, it's an attack on his policies. That is relevant. I told you what I'd do, did Bush, before he was elected? Would he have been elected if he'd said "I will use any opportunity to take away rights from the citizens and impose the power of this nation across the globe ignoring all borders" no, he waited until after he was elected to say that.
And giving a disclaimer at the top that says "This is not flamebait" does not take away that something is flamebait. Your political views aren't being censored. If you'd spent any time actually reading the posts which haven't been modded-down, instead of sticking to a +5 troll bonus, you'd see that if anything, the opposite is true, and furthermore that most people using mod points don't have the comprehension level required to politically censor someone.
The original post clearly mentions the war. It also clearly mentions the wheel. Want to talk about cars?
I would kill everybody in the region and set up a loosely-controlled government to be taken over by terrorists, of course.
The problem, to me, isn't the concept of war. It is fighting terrorism with terrorism, and the policies which use pending war as an excuse.
I'm sure that most/. folks agree that war itself isn't the problem, it's that the pending war excuse seems manufactured.
Comply or be destroyed, take a look at what we can do. That's fucking terrorism, okay?
There's a bunch of thrown-out responces. Not intelligent as a whole, but you can build more intelligent statements out of them with some quick googling.
Now mod this post and the parent down, because they'd fucking off-topic.
have you tried turning/up/ the volume of the speakers? yes, I know "The speakers unplugged blah blah blah", I'm not saying that it doesnt exist when there are no speakers, but the speakers could indeed pick up the noise. When I heard this noise, however, I looked up on google, it said to turn your soundcard volume down from 100%, and boom it goes away. Now let me ask you this: have you unplugged your/internal/ speaker?
RadioShack makes a small profit selling a wand to disable such devices, until a court order forces them to stop. Fortunatly, for businesses, RadioShack insists on always taking down personal information when you buy things, so the police easily acquire a complete list of criminals and arrest the lot of them.
I did, but I don't bother talking about it. People who talk about their happy childhoods bug me, because they are just talking about what they wished they were doing instead. You want to go build another tree fort and hang around with 8-year-olds? Nobody's fucking stopping you. Go ahead and do it, and stop whining. Micheal Jackson does it, why the fuck can't you?
Am I the only one who hates recollection? Especially recollection about how shitty things used to be?
I remember hearing people talk about the 'good old days', now all you hear about is "OMG REMEMBER WHEN OUR COMPUTARS HAD 3KB AND YOU HAD TO TRYPE INSTEAD OF SPEAK!?!" -- IT'S FUCKING ANNOYING. STOP IT. I DON'T CARE WHAT YOUR LIFE USED TO BE LIKE, IF IT WAS SHITTY OR GOOD OR ANYTHING. SHUT THE FUCK UP! [yes, I meant to do that.]
some of the best games I've played where ones in which we rolled the die, 20 meant good, 1 meant bad, and anything inbetween was entirely random. The games are about role-playing. Keeping track of shit just gets in the way. Hit points, and how much gold you have. Ignore anything else. You shot him with an arrow did you? Well shit, then. He sure as hell is dead. Grazing shots my ass.
The original idea was that since XBox is sold at a loss, it would be cheaper to set up a cluster of XBoxen than a cluster of regular PCs. However, a recent slashdot article (which I am far too lazy to wade through the incredibly innefective search engine to locate) claims that this is simply not the case- that a cluster of Walmart computers would be cheaper and faster. There is also the note that XBox uses x86 hardware- once you port the OS, you dont need to port anything else, it should already run. The only real "porting" challenge the XBox has is that Microsoft doesnt want to let you run Linux on it. However, the goal at this point being to completely circumvent the XBox's protection measures without hardware modification, Microsoft knows that it's only a matter of time before a boot disc is developed. Once such a thing happens, they have the potential to lose money to piracy. People who wouldnt want to mod their XBox don't neccessarily mind sticking an extra disc in at load time. So Microsoft may decide to just hand a signature over to anyone who wants to use the XBox legitimately in order to prevent them from creating a boot disc.

useless law.
How about a new law where nobody can be granted absolute control over something they aren't going to use or even allow the use of?
give Dirk Gently some ambient background noise.
thank you :)

no, it's more like a clicking sound.
did we not already know this?
did nobody do this previously?
does such a simple experiment require being in space, as opposed to a simple freefall?
Parent topic is Not "insightful", he just copied+pasted the article word-for-word!
No, only nothing is on-topic. You are off-topic!

Just read all that? Ha ha. I lied.
We know.
Because stalking and murdering someone counts as misuse, obviously, giving your name to a list which randomly sends e-mail also does. There's /. logic.
if it's the movie I'm thinking of, it wasn't harrison ford, and the movie sucked.
