I love how they put an X on each tab and the tabs automatically resize after a certain number of tabs is added / removed. Every time I try to switch tabs I accidentally close one and every time I try to close more than one tab I accidentally switch to the second tab instead of closing it. Maybe I'm blind and there is a way to switch back to the old tabbing system? This one blows though IMO so someone please enlighten me! Or do I just revert to 1.5?
I actually didn't mean the EXACT people flying into us, but their organizations as a whole. Its interesting those dreaded fishbones have been killing US citizens so rapidly, don't let the government find out though.. They may ban fish or make them convert to a democracy or something.
On a serious note, I don't care what they do about the terrorists as long as they dont blow billions of dollars on it...
Beneficial or not to other countries the US is using American Citizens' money to meddle and it needs to stop. The people flying airplanes into our assets need to die, not be liberated or whatever..
Huh? Theres millions of Americans with the viewpoint that we do TOO MUCH for other countries. It gives you a warm and fuzzy feeling to help others, sure. The rest of the world isn't our problem though.. IMO the problem is they need to focus more on American citizens and less on being big brother to the rest of the world.
In a way that doesn't seem too farfetched.. it wouldn't be unrealistic to have their e-mail address as a part of their voter registration. One vote per registration number and e-mail. They send an e-mail with the vote and verify the proper registration number matches the proper e-mail address. After one vote has been cast there are no changes for that particular person... I suppose there would be some holes which someone much wiser than me can point out to "patch".
Its not odd or homophobic. Its hetero. Thats what hetero means, obviously they will be attracted to the opposite sex and not to the same, possibly as far as disgusted by the same sex.
I'd imagine the temperature of Venus has a little to do with being dramatically closer to that big flaming ball in the center of our solar system as well...
The place I work is loaded with them and they make me feel like crap. Like the company I work for buys expensive shitty chairs to feel good about themselves. I'll take my personal $50 walmart fake leather chair over those pieces of crap any day. Mod me offtopic but business owners everywhere need to know how crappy their chairs are.
I say exactly. If all these clueless people are getting zombified PCs that are sending SPAM get billed for it they will either:
a) fight the ISPs forcing them to take a loss and do something about spam b) Learn to secure their computer c) Stop using their computer all together d) Pay the fee and continue on for an undisclosed period of time at the end of which they will have to choose again
I've always been the person that buys myself a retail copy and uses it on all the computers I own. If there isn't a way for me to get what I feel is my "moneys" worth out of it I simply wont buy it.
99.9% of the time I'm the only one that uses my computers anyway and I can really only use one at a time. I don't feel the least bit sorry for them at $150+ a copy anyway.
I knew when Vista became mainstream I would switch full-on to linux. I thought I would run vista in a VM for games and such but if theres this much to deal with I'll just stick with WXP and pass up on DX10..
If someone out there cared about US citizens. I am sure there are tons of kids out there that could use a $100 laptop, even some grownups. Were stuck with buying them in pairs of 3s and getting one of the 3 at some undisclosed time in the future.. anyone know if these will ever be sold retail in the USA? I'd take one of these over a PDA any day.
Also I had heard they were going to remove the wind-up power, I guess they changed their mind again? I think these seem really cool and would love to get my hands on one...
Thanks for the correction though. I suppose they really shouldn't call it free speech though. Chinese are just as free to say what they choose as we are. Maybe they should call it "visible speech" as in they don't cover it up just because they don't like it. Of course, if it is a matter of national security the USA would surely try to stop me from saying something? Maybe the Chinese government feels someone slandering their government is a matter of national security as well..
Hmm.. if I understand what you are saying, even China has free speech. Sure, you may end up getting shot if they don't like what you have to say. I really don't see what the problem is...
Agh. Mod me -1 uninformed. I knew it started with an "I". Reguardless I can still see the same advancements coming out of their India facility. I'm looking forward to see what happens.
I think it may have something to do with the Banias and Dothan cores which IIRC were designed in India. That architecture is part of what led Intel to the Core 2 Duo processor we have today. I'm sure they are being thrown a bone for the good work they did as far as getting power consumption down and performance per clock up.
Wasn't it the distributers that said the cost of the media and packaging made up a great deal of the cost of DVDs? I'd say the retailers are getting a pretty good deal with only $2 difference between the DVD + packaging + extras vs just a video file.
Sounds like an even better business plan. Make people pay $5 a month for each piece of generic content they want, like ESPN Mobile which is shutting down.
I realize most major carriers offer broadband, which is overpriced junk.
Once mobile carriers are giving 512kbit+ lines for low prices w/ out restrictions (ie. ethernet or some other port on the phone where you can plug any web capable device into it for an instant connection) and no bandwidth limits will mobile internet finally pick up.
Eventually it needs to get to the point where landlines of any type are rare; video, voice and internet all transmitted wirelessly. Only the major bandwidth users (ISPs, webhosts, etc) and people that rely on low latency should require landlines, if even them.
Don't you need internet access on your cell phone before mobile search engines hit it big? In which case there would need to be almost nothing different than current websites. Maybe they should focus on getting decent broadband to mobile phones in the area of $20 a month before worrying about super-duper mobile phone websites. Otherwise nobody will use the websites....
Yeh, you can. Point is the automatic billpay was trash though. I haven't had any problems in a few months either. The issue was it wouldn't automatically make the deduction so I had to manually transfer the funds. One month they told me I must send payment and I did, the following day it automatically withdrew the same amount (double payment). Since then it has been fine.
I'm just trying to figure out why they are spending all this money to try to sell crappy cordless phones to top business execs?
Much thanks, only qualm I had with FF2.0 was this. I'll fix it as soon as I get home.

Thats what a little is.

unbeatable at Tic-Tac-Toe This is un-fucking-believable.
AMD is in the race to stay alive as a company but they are not in the race to have the top CPU of 2006/2007, which is what really matters.

Now everyone knows we only have to bother with pirating Vista Ultimate and Vista Business.
