  1. Re:HDTV output from GameCube on GameCube Hardware In Depth on Anandtech · · Score: 1

Okay, this one guy says 1080i games are possible. But Anandtech according to the link I put in my response said:

The Xbox features a Conexant video encoder chip that supports the following TV output resolutions: 480i, 480p, 720p and 1080i. However the input of that chip is governed to a maximum (according to Conexant's tech-docs) of 1024 x 768. Note that the input resolution and the resolution outputted to your TV don't have to be the same, but if they are not the same you're just going to be scaling or shrinking the image and won't get any additional quality out of it.

And that pretty much covers anything I would say after posting this for those who can't follow a linkish type thing. So there. :-)

If anything M.A.D. will only thoroughly piss off the country that fires off a single nuke (having little else to do, a cease fire won't do them much good, nor do I think they would care about the environment at that point), and before the end of the day could easily be the difference between one nuke and a few hundred nukes raining down on us.

Smash Bros. = yellow rats and pink blobs/princesses.

Pikmin = cute alien and swarm of adorable plant creatures

They overlook the fact that in Smash Bros. you can beat the snot out of said characters, throw them into a bottomless pit and enjoy the resultant smeary blast representing whats left of them.

And in Pikmin you get to breed those little creatures and then feed them to the retarded looking bugs (which get bigger the next day, tee hee).
