  1. iTunes podcast & university lectures on IOS 4.3 Now Available For Download · · Score: 0

I'm downloading the update primarily in hopes that they've fixed the iTunes store where you literally can't see the full titles of podcasts or iTunes U lectures. You use the search in iTunes and it finds many results, however you can't read any of them at all until you fully download it. Nightmare.

I don't personally see a major nuisance with this, the trouble with the new implementations is that they are all being pushed in too fast. Here's a couple examples

    * category selection at the top has now permanently moved to the side
    * images section has completely changed and it's just a bit annoying use sometimes

I'm all for autonomous driving (for example, after having one too many drinks, your car could simply drive you and your friends back) however, lets be honest - the roads are never perfect and there will sometimes be cats/cogs/other large animals included as well as people and other things like people on bikes or horses on the roads. Just because myspace is in heavy decline doesn't mean they were doing all the wrong things. facebook is severely lacking in the music area and apple have been luck/smart/quick enough to try and capture that market. Users are on the rise for music, just check out spotify/last.fm/we7 sometime. Personally I hope that the quicker we get away from status updates and the focus on what we're all doing in the very moment the better.

I think it's selfish for parents who will know for certain their children will have the same disease/problems as them. Perhaps if people were more open to adoption we might see less intense willingness to 'have your own', the end of the day it's a blank human and it's not hard to make a child, it's hard to raise one to the best of your abilities.

I'm ill informed in the subject but I hope there are rules in place to stop say, two people genetically very, very poor (e.g. their children guaranteed to have extreme issues). Down syndrome and so on...

Also it's a bit of a gamble isn't it at the end of the day? For me I'd quite like the idea of knowing that the child I will adopt will be quite healthy ... I don't have the risk of having a child myself and have it turn out with severe mental issues. I realise people with severe mental issues are still able to fully enjoy life but if you don't have the time/resources money then I feel it's quite selfish.

Looks like most of the causes were due to being rushed. It confuses me that people complain about these services which, if rushed, are life-threatening. An example, my friends brother was rushing to get home quick in his car. He was over tired and it was at night with icy roads. As you can guess he crashed and took out a persons garden wall, luckily he didn't die and had minor injuries. However, his aim was to get from A to B faster by a couple minutes by driving quicker - this then caused him to have around a 16 hour delay by staying in a hospital over night. Ironic.

This really is turning into a great tool for obsessive people. Here's an example; I'm on facebook and I am updated about what new friends my friends have. Why on earth should I know this? It is utterly pointless and makes you feel like a stalker. As for the location business, it's like a ticking time bomb to me until the media focus on a particular crime where the attacker used facebook as a means to gather private information about whereabouts. Facebook is either really stupid, or they think they are invincible.
