    Tell that to Kent Hovind. His ministry deposited amounts in the $9000s every week because that was the amount of money they were receiving from donations. He went to jail for over 10 years because of this (perhaps because he was a very outspoken young earth creationist).

    I have gotten at least 4 upgrades to my Android OS on my phone in a year and a half.

  11. We had several Samsung batteries fail in our Galaxy S5s, which are not yet 2 years old. Thanks to removable batteries, I was able to fix two phones with the problem (and have a wall-charger and extra battery) for only $22 total.

  12. Because this is obviously just as bad as threatening to kill someone or administering poison with intent to endanger life, which both have 10 year sentences in the UK...

    I bought an HP Stream 7 about a year ago. At least on Windows 10, it's 32-bit.

    In the old days, lots of people punched a co-worker. Was the guy hurt? Did they go have a beer afterward? People are too sensitive these days.

  18. Apple should buy Disney instead. And Google should buy Universal (because Sony and Comcast just don't go along with "Don't be evil"). So, that leaves Microsoft to buy Comcast. Sounds like a perfect fit. Then they can fire the MAFIAA and make the world a wonderful place.

    The rules are whatever client the vast majority of bitcoin miners are running. If they get past 75%, they can change the rules to whatever they want, but then bitcoin would probably become a Chinese currency only, which would dump the price drastically.

    They need to lie and say they are black or lie about their zip code in order to see if there is any disparate treatment. They can't do this with the CFAA as it is technically illegal, since they are lying about their identity.
