    Actually, K9 (the free version of Blue Coat) worked REMARKABLY well in my experience. In my 5 years of using it at home when my kids were younger, I only ran into a handful of unblocked sites and only 2 false positives.

    Blue Coat makes the free K9 software which I used to use when my kids were younger. They allowed the end-users to flag any site as a violation of any category. I'm not sure how much checking they did, but I would imagine if 10-12 people called the same site the same thing they would probably block it.

    Also, any user can request that a certain site should NOT be blocked as a certain category, as it is unlikely to apply. Again, hard to tell how long or how many users until it took effect.

    I got a multimeter free after rebate at Fry's. It has adequately performed (seemingly correctly) every task I have thrown at it. Maybe it's a little slow to respond sometimes, but it was free and it works! (It's red, BTW.)

    Well, now that everything comes from China and customs enforces trademark, a dilution case will never make it to court. The items in question will have already been destroyed.

    People can do this to you even if you don't have Facebook. I am identified in Facebook pictures even though I don't have an account and try to maintain an anonymous online presence. Fortunately I have a relatively common name.

    Only the Jehovah's Witnesses say that. "Narrow is the way that leads to life and few find it." If you go around blaspheming God saying he "Sucks donkey balls" then yes, he will send you to hell. But probably not for the reason you think. He sends you to hell for harming others. He's not personally upset with you.

    There may be as many as a billion people in heaven. But it's hard to say. There certainly won't be many from Slashdot, it appears.

    Prayer gives problems over to God. Meditation involves you trying to figure out your problems yourself. The resulting stress level from the 2 is far different.

    Not true. All Saturn dealers were new and Saturn-only at the beginning. They had GM's money to invest, but it was pretty independent for a while.

    I worked with police for a while. Trust me, you do NOT want to see most of the crap that they have to deal with. Available to a public watchdog panel? Fine. Available to the public at large? I really don't think you want to see severed heads or murdered, raped teenagers' dead nude bodies.

    Once it becomes commonplace and accepted, the jury will be very unlikely to take an officer's word if their camera "malfunctioned".
