Science IS a matter of belief, or at least what passes for science today. There is little proof that the dinosaurs died 65 (66?) million years ago, but it's been repeated enough that it's popular now (even won a popularity contest to "become" the truth). The amount of evidence is appallingly low for something so commonly held. And look at the Oort Cloud, which has no evidence at all. People believe in it because comets would otherwise make the Solar System too young for evolutionary processes, not because of the evidence for it.

What does "deniers" mean? Hasn't the pro side already "denied" global warming enough to rename it "climate change"? And people just deny that burning fossil fuels is the major contributor to this change (because it's been seen historically unrelated to the industrial age) and that the earth can't recover (since it has recovered from worse historically). Nobody denies that the readings are actually changing.

And my mom chose to believe what she felt God was telling her instead of what the doctor was telling her. In numerous cases, her intuition was right and he was wrong. And he was considered the world's foremost expert on her condition. She lived longer than all his other patients, double over the next highest person. And he changed his treatment methods after her success even though it didn't make logical sense, because it had the best results. (Incidentally, that's HOW he became the world's foremost expert on her condition.)

“Actually, then, it is already a defeat for you, that you have lawsuits with one another. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be defrauded?” (1 Corinthians 6:7).

The meaning is that you shouldn't take other believers (church-goers) to court. If two Christians can't work something out between themselves in a dispute that's fair for both sides, then one or both of them a) aren't very good Christians (selfish, love money) or b) aren't very forgiving.

As a Christian, I would never sue another church member from any church. But there should be no issue with suing non-Christians.

    Backward compatibility:

The Atari 7800 is backward compatible with almost all Atari 2600 games.
The Game Boy Color is backward compatible with all Game Boy cartridges.
The Game Boy Advance line, except for the Game Boy Micro, is backward compatible with all Game Boy and Game Boy Color games.
The Nintendo DS and the Nintendo DS Lite are backward compatible with all Game Boy Advance games.
The Nintendo 3DS and the Nintendo 3DS XL are backward compatible with most of the Nintendo DS and Nintendo DSi software. However, the 3DS and its predecessor the DSi lack the Game Boy Advance slot found on the DS and DS Lite, causing certain titles to lose functionality when played on the systems. The Guitar Hero: On Tour series is incompatible with the DSi and 3DS because of this.
Initially, the Nintendo Wii was backward compatible with all games from the Nintendo GameCube, due in large part to its PowerPC CPU and ATi graphics architectures being evolved versions of those from the GameCube. However, a "Family Edition" model released in North America and Europe in late 2011 removed GameCube support, and all Wiis manufactured thereafter also lack backward-compatibility.
The Wii U is backward compatible with all Wii games and peripherals.
The PlayStation 2 is backward compatible with most of the original PlayStation library.
Initial PlayStation 3 models are backward compatible with most PlayStation and PlayStation 2 games. This is provided by the inclusion of the original Emotion Engine chip that is built inside the PS2. However, subsequent models removed this and the "Graphics Synthesizer" GPU, thus removing support for PS2 titles, but still able to play most original PS games.
The PS Vita is backward compatible with PSP games, Minis, PlayStation and Neo Geo games downloaded from the PlayStation Store. The Xbox 360 is backward compatible with some Xbox games via software emulation.
