Call me crazy, but I would think a vehicle would have to be traveling at an angle greater than 45 degrees off its center-line to call its direction of travel sideways as anything less than that would be mostly forward.

I propose a signaling device that creates an information interface to personal computer users by representing coded data as lighted dots on a panel that are arranged to recreate both text and multimedia images. I have just submitted this concept to the patent office, which makes it patent pending, so if you choose to use such an interface you had better pay me a royalty.

The sad truth of it is that the poor lawyers probably did not get any thumb drives at all and had to make due with nothing more than millions of dollars for their trouble.

It's really up to the marketing department what they price it for in each market, but I agree that if they price it like that, it is too much. They will likely use the UK launch as market research before they decide on a US price. IMHO it needs to be at least 20% less than the iPad or almost no one will buy it.

You missed his point. "Exothermic reaction" means the concrete will be emitting heat and therefore will not make a good pc cooler until the curing is complete.
I don't mean to go against the grain of this hate-fest, but I have had great service from Fairpoint. Admittedly, I've never actually talked to them, since I haven't needed to. After purchasing FiOS from Verizon 2 years ago, they promptly turned it over to Fairpoint, but its been rock solid ever since. In fact, it's the fastest, most reliable internet service I've ever had, and its cheap too! Excuse me, I have to go find some wood to knock on now.
For those of you who aren't aware, the Black Hat tradition for vulnerability presentations which have been similarly blocked due to court orders, etc. is to offer BH a replacement safe/bland presentation and then deliver the banned exploit demonstration regardless. This action typically results in a large lawsuit against the researcher's employer, subsequent termination of the researcher, and a short-lived rock star notoriety for the researcher making the afore mentioned termination totally worth it.
