Culture Shock is the loving update we dreamed of. It's the kind of game you want to be playing when your friends and family walk in the room, if only to demonstrate that there are videogames out there that aren't just about killing things and smashing cars (even if, yes, you can actually do both in this, albeit in typically slapstick fashion). Even the jazz licks of the soundtrack make you want to turn up the volume in celebration. You want the whole world to know that people still make games like this - ones that not only make you laugh, but everyone else too.

A infrared-sensor is optical connected to the flashing led on the electricity meter of the power company and reads the total consumption we use. The led on the meter flashes 480 times for every Kilowatt (kW). The pulse is counted by a Dallas One Wire counter with memory and once every minute my computer reads the amount of pulses (led flashes) counted. All the data is saved in a SQL database which I can query and display on the webpage's.
Electrical power is supplied and distributed around the Bwired house at 50Hz. However, the wires are actually capable of carrying a range of other frequencies which can be 'tuned-in' using appropriate equipment. Powerline technology takes advantage of this unused bandwidth of the electrical wiring in the home. The PowerLine device plugs into the electrical socket and draws power for the device. At the same time, it sends data signals down the power cord. A second PowerLine device can then be placed on any electrical outlet in the home/office to receive the signal. Now any Ethernet device (internet cable/DSL modem or another computer) can connect to the PowerLine Ethernet port and create a home/office network.

But PC gaming is uncomfortable and hardly a social experience (with people in the same room). If you sit at a desk all day in front of a computer, why on earth would you try to relax at home in front of one? What better way to unwind with the boys than to kick back on the sofa with a few cold ones, controllers in hand? I can think of none other (that don't involve dollar bills and copious amounts of regret).
Sitting in front of a TV together is not a bonding experience; it is a distancing experience, a way in which people can cohabit a room without actually having to engage each other or connect personally.

Episodes mean you get more Sam & Max with less waiting. More fun with shorter dry stretches in between. We all know what it's like to wait three or four (or five) years for a game to come out -- no fun. Telltale's sending that model out of style. Steve Purcell has always said one of the best things about Sam & Max is that they work in any format you throw at them. Just take a look at the crime-fighting duo's vast body of work. These guys have appeared in comics ranging from one-page gag strips to 40-page epics, half-hour Saturday morning cartoons, web-based flash animations, and of course, the age-old graphic adventure. The way we see it, the format doesn't change Sam & Max. Sam & Max change the format.
