Yes, it would be nice is NaCl could run ARM code and I know that running x86 code is not likely to end well. I'm open about my lack of expertise, yours is obviously suspect, and I at least had the balls to sign my inflammatory ignorant statements.

Not only did SEGA force EA to slash their prices by eating their sales numbers they did so while producing a well done competitive game.

Of course they did such a good job that EA went and signed an exclusive contract with the NFL and the Players worth more than $300 million before the next season.

I was having this issue. It was starting to irritate the family more than a little over the holidays. I found that it wasn't Ubuntu that was the problem, it was the BT client I was using.

When I tried to use Deluge it would clog the entire network and we render the net virtually unusable to anyone, usually including myself. When I changed to utorrent through wine or azureus not only did I download significantly faster the other users didn't notice my downloading. I concluded that either I had deluge configured wrong (pretty much default) or it has some issues as a program. I was extremely happy it wasn't Ubuntu that was the problem.

Please stop trying to use solutions that don't apply to the problem. Japan and Europe are very successful examples of how trains can work, unfortunately there are significant differences between their situation and that in North America. Europe is almost twice as densely populated as the USA (Europe - 134 people per square mile, USA - 76 people per square mile) and more than 4 times as dense as the continent on the whole (North America - 32 people per square mile).

The distances to cover and the lack of population density are the main barrier to rail in North America as a whole, not the lack inability of the technology. So right now rail is a 19th Century solution to a 21st Century problem in North America. Please get some understanding of the problem, any understanding, before you start trying to spew out an answer.

Remember almost all units of measure are made up and used as a convention (aka. Standard) for understanding each other.

No artist pays another artist for performing their song live. So Paul McCartney doesn't pay MJ a penny. The only people who do are those that publish the songs (most commercials, tv shows, movies, etc...). So please don't spout blatant lies people may believe you. I love seeing Tycho and Gabe (Jerry and Mike if you will) getting the recognition they deserve. Penny Arcade has broken ground in success and shown how it is possible to build a business model providing a primarily free product. The key is having a product people want. I just wish the great works they've done such as Child's Play and PAX had gotten more than just a mention. Perhaps some people who listen to NPR will branch out and look at the seedy underworld of online comics now.

Their big theme also isn't whether or not we're causing a mass extinction event but that the ESA is a bad thing. This falls right in line with their political views of small government, nothing to see here move along.

There is no question we are directly and rapidly effecting the existence of species. There is significantly more hard proof for this than there is for global warming, the other big environmental monster under the bed. There is at least some chance that the loss of species is contributing to global warming, at least working on the theory that more diversity is better able to adjust and adapt a changing environment.
