Of course they should. You don't look to other countries' solutions *just* for the things they do well. Learn from the mistakes of others and all that.
My biggest issue is that, to my knowledge, there has never been a documented observance of life coming from non-life.
So, your biggest issue with a concept that explains how orgnaisms adapt to their environment is that no one saw life start?
Dude, abiogenesis has nothing to do with evolution.
I've watched facebook degenerate into an oozing fest of self indulgence and crappy quizzes about peoples aura/star sign/some other mystic crap or how good they are in bed, and too many of my friends now use it to grandly announce every mundane detail of their life to the world as if they're some sort of celebrity and we're all supposed to be deeply concerned about them cutting their pinky finger or enraptured by their new haircut, etc etc.
A great many people think that their lives are far more important and eventful than those of others, without making the mental leap to realise that other people think the same about their own.
There are generational requirements for entry on long-term visas into the UK. As an Australian whose grandmother was born in the UK, I can get an ancestry visa, which would give me the right to live in the UK for 5 years. My mother could get permanent right-of-abode. My children will only be able to get holiday visas.
...there is a condition where when a person is stressed the heart's electrical system goes out of whack, throws a charge when it shouldn't and basically the heart just quivers instead of beating. Now since this doesn't show up unless under stress (like say...when in PE) it can be hard to catch
Such a thing is very unlikely to be caught by an off-the-shelf heart rate monitor, monitored by an unqualified PE teacher.
, especially if you don't have someone previously diagnosed with it, as from what I have been told it tends to run in families.
I just can't prevent myself from adding "But not for very long"
They do, however, strive on their reputation of being proficient. Having their fuckups dissemimated widely across the net is not in their best interests.
Oddly enough, the very people in power at the moment were the ones who were loudly yelling about how the previous government was anti-free speech, pro-censorship and arch-conservative.
What a difference a year in power makes...
Just be sure not to send a note to all the Catholic MPs beforehand. No good deed goes unpunished.
Ask the fully armed and dangerously paranoid chaps who will be at your door shortly. Be polite.
Sorry to break the bad news to you.
If you have the queen on your money you are British... Sorry to break the bad news to you.
The same way that if you have a pyramid on your money you are Egyptian?
The amended statement is perfectly correct. Is nitrogen now a pollutant?
I really doubt the US counterpart has anything to learn from him or his plans
Like, for instance, what not to do?
Like, for instance, the post you replied to said?

I take it you are not apposed to foreigners jumping border to get health care, education and welfare.
The location doesn't matter. If the taxpayer paid for it, I think the taxpayer should be able to use it.
Er, what?
Are you suggesting that, as a taxpayer in one country, I should have access to and use products and services paid for by another country?
What the fuck are you smoking, because it sure as hell needs to be made illegal.
Sure. It makes a lovely splat.

Sound's like a plan to get more subscribers to me.
Firstly, nationality is not the same as skin colour.
Nationality is not the same as DNA either.

You sure? Many of the Sony fanboys I've met seem to have had puberty delayed, if their high-pitched whining is anything to go by.

Maybe we could get a grant to recreate the Mayflower and the Titanic in one go. Stuff a ship full of fundementalists and sink it in the Atlantic.

it took them 40 years to find a place nice enough to be worth invading instead.
Worth invading? They spent 40 years wandering around in the desert and finally picked the one spot in the whole middle east that doesn't have any oil.
