    How exactly to they expect this thing to stop?

    I see this scenario playing out:

    1. Guy goes too fast on hoverbike
    2. Kid runs after ball, runs in front of bike
    3. Bike attempts to stop by adjusting pitch
    4. Bike ends up becoming nearly upright
    5. Kid looks at oncoming blades in horror

    Interesting that they view the licensing and transparency as deal-breakers, and doubly interesting that a majority of the committee members feel somewhat supportive of that position (but not enough to vote against).

    How I understand it is this: The licensing terms restrict Google from making their own platform specific version using the spec. It basically stops Google from rebranding Java to "Gava" and using it as the language of choice on Android.

    I have a feeling that the game consoles will be integrated within the TV soon also. The Sony TV remote already looks like a game controller. With Android become the standard, your TV's speed might start mattering as much as the picture quality.

    They really should stick to a more streamlined naming scheme.

    I got it:
    Slow but Cheap
    Fast Enough for Youtube HD
    Faster for Most Games
    Fastest for epeen
    Rip Off for anything other than 3 monitors

    Then tack on '10, '11, etc for the year and you're golden.
