    I think you'll find that SG-1 has more PhDs than the combat/response teams. Their strength lies in the combination of brains and brawn. SG-3 as well as 5, 10, and 12 are the "armed response teams."

    This is why Hans is "guilty." If the only people who determine our justice are "too dumb to get out of jury duty" of course we will have injustices far greater than this. It takes competant jury to deliver justice, and with so many avoiding their duty, this is rare indeed.

    I swear some people would buy that for the percieved value. I've fought the battle of "free is worthless" too many times to count. Throw in "Free upgrades for life!!eleventy-one!" and a good chunk of consumers (people who have chosen to remain passive purchasers) would "buy" it right now.

    Crayola (and other companies that I am familiar with) generally use powers of two, but also multiply by three in some cases (24, 36, 48, etc) They have deviated in several cases, producing packs of 1-10, as well as 40 (mainly in Europe) Bulk packaging also deviates, by having a small number of colors repeated, usually in a multiple of 5.     I don't (knowingly) grow GM crops, you insensitive clod! On the other hand, my neighbor, Robert, does, and I've found evidence of cross pollination over a road and waterway, not just side by side. So far we haven't seen any of the mafia in town, but we've got the second amendment just in case.

    It wouldn't be a bad idea to skin Linux to look and act as close to XP as (technically and legally) possible. People are used to XP and don't want to change. Wine and Linux should be able to mimic most of the important features of XP, for free, giving Linux a huge advantage over Vista and 7. It would be great to outcompete Microsoft in Windows compatibility. This may not be the way we want to use Linux, but it seems to be the way the majority wants to use their computers (the way they're comfortable with).

    I think you meant to say "cures" cancer, and there is evidence that the oil does so. I believe that inhaling smoke is probably not beneficial to one's health, but that should be a choice left to the individual. On the other hand, there are many other uses of marijuana that are truly promote good health.

    I also read that but I believe that their problem was that no part of the system was made to work in that way. The processors and motherboard were designed to work with identical processors, not an arbitrary set chosen from "what we had laying around." They had different memory management, cache, and SSE support. That said, the benchmark section showed that it worked surprisingly well, only failing on two of the dozen or so tests.
