    This is I think, the fewest comments I've ever seen on a /. story.
    I watched the Inkscape video, as it's the one application I'm familiar with, and I like it a lot.
    One question, though, is what exactly is being visualized? e.g. what does it mean when one person's name moves from SW to NE?

    No, they just integrated the power it took to do the task over the time it took to do the task, to give a more useful number than a straight average might have done. 37W for 1000s (37000 J) is better than 30W for 2000s (60000 J), even though 30W is 37W.

    But cell phones transmit at the same frequency as the microwave oven - that's why his meter worked for both. So if the power is high enough, you can heat up your pizza pocket with it, or fry a few brain cells. Not saying a cell phone will do that, only that if your argument against it is limited to frequency, it's no good.

    Depends on the kind of atheist they are: "strong atheist" - what you say is correct; "weak atheist" - no. Weak atheist is really agnostic, which no one seems to call themselves anymore.
