i don't think his planet has a "sky" - yes, it's THAT alien (this coming from and android phone owner - i like my android phone, but apple has nothing major to worry about yet, i am sure they do see android as a competitor, but not one that is necessarily winning... yet)
Well going to apple's App Store web site only shows me featured apps in certain categories and not a search feature to find everything (that I could find) - like Android's market site. To browse and search everything, i think you still have to use iTunes.
I agree with the above completely. This is the simple way to get PC stuff on a TV.... have a media-center compatible remote and/or wireless input (like keyboard/trackball combo suggested above).
... and other people can EASILY find out. Age, name, race, ethnic background... this crap is nothing. The only thing I did NOT fill out was my phone number, the rest, hell, i'm sure the IRS has it already... if a some sort of investigative body needs to go there for that info, I'm sure they'll find a way to get it, if they didn't already know that basic info already. If they asked for account #s, SSNs (again, something the IRS know too) and stuff like that, I would have protested. Mostly, this form is pretty benign as far as information collection goes.
Also FXIII is probably pretty linear compared to many western RPG or open-world titles. The dialog can be more refined and less bits of choppy elements (barring all the "poke every retard in town and see what one-liner they give you" dialog lines seemingly present in every single RPG ever)
If my XBOX was bricked and no warranty coverage was left, the LAST thing I'd want to do was to pump *more* money into an even MORE useless "accessory". Also, as mentioned before, the controller is probably still good....
Agreed, I am not a fan of WinMo 6 at all - but it never gave me any real problems (regarding crashing or rebooting). Just ugly and hard to use at times - also, the Palm Treo wasn't exactly an eye-catcher (which I ran for a long time).
TiVo looks like a great device, however it always seems to have an unusually large price tag and that damn monthly fee. I know hardly anyone in my city with one, primarily becuase Dish Network, DishTv and our cable provider (Cox Communications) provides DVRs that work with their system for a fairly low lease per month ($10 or less - however, i concede that this does compare to the monthly fee of the TiVo - except I don't have to BUY a TiVo at all). They work well enough for most people.
I suspect Apple sells way more iphones and ipods because: 1) lower price (iphone only when subsidized with a contract) and has more functionality than a TiVo; 2) portable; 3) better marketing; 4) ipod has NO monthly fee (iphone does because it is a mobile phone)
FYI - you do NOT have to install apps from the Market on an android phone, you can turn on a setting to allow installation of packages from other-than-Market sources. Any.APK file can be downloaded and installed then... of course, at your own risk.
A lot of management that I have worked with do not see the forest for the trees. They break policy all the time in little ways, but, until they are held accountable for their actions and given consequences, they have little motivation to follow the rules (not all management is like this, I have been fortunate to work directly under some really good people who did thing right most of the time - we all make mistakes - we shouldn't do it all the time and on purpose).
ok awesome, why do i need press a button for that when the browser could give me more screen real estate by default? I bet F11 was designed to hide UIs that were too busy (esp. when mointor resolutions were even smaller). again... however, all preference.

I think maybe a compatibility section for each app in the market would be a start, even if user reported
... and, it's not that much worse than installing iTunes!!
come back tomorrow - the rest of us will laugh - you can be a party pooper
